It takes a single day to bash down the price to loose more than a dollar but it takes months and years sometimes to earn a dollar. Stock are much more inclined to bad sentiments and overreacted by bad news. Speechless !

I sell coz need some money to go for vacation and also look for other opportunities and i am not a long term investor..only a medium term player

Director controlling too much percentage of the stock holding are subjected to price movement..

wow so terrible drop today. I feel this stock is over reacted, it is not making massive losses or very drop in net profit. It is just a forex losses. Other things are still positive though.

In case you missed this, the profit margins for this quarter have dropped so much compared to the previous 11 quarters.

This drop in its profit margins is highly significant and has not escaped the management who indicated that the business is lack lustre.

The period of super profit in Magni may be ending. It will still be profitable though.

Its price is still high by any measure.

If not mistaken cooperate exercise coming soon. This is what happen to JHM down from 4 to 3 ....then up till mother can't recognized. Same case like JHM. Magni better than JHM due to dividend much till your mother also can't recognized.

Q1 2018 earnings = 12.04 sen. Annualising the Q1 2018 EPS, this is = 12.04 x 4 = 48.16 sen. At price of RM 6.16 per share today, its PE is 12.8 times.


Using ttm-EPS, at price of RM 6.16, its ttm-EPS is 73.38 sen and its PE is 8.63 times.


Its historical PE ranged from 5.5 to 8.2, averaging 6.8.

Of course, the reward/risk ratio for Magni changed yesterday with the release of its Q1 2018 results.


Accordingly, a lot of sellers in the market today and the price gaped down.
