The common flu virus is a rhinovirus while covid-19 is a coronavirus. Rhino is primarily a respiratory disease whereas corona is a vascular disease. A vascular disease damages the blood vessels, meaning it can damage all the organs since all organs are supplied with blood. Scientists even found covid-19 in the test-icles of infected men. So there are big big differences between the 2 viruses. Of course rhinovirus is much easier to tackle than coronavirus due to the structural complexity of the latter. So please don't put the 2 in the same pot! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
monetary OnTime. May I know common flu has how many mutations?
De Oliveira stressed the Covid-19 shots are still the best tool against the virus, adding lab studies still need to be carried out to test vaccine and antibody evasion. "I don't think we're going to see a situation where the vaccines will be rendered useless," said Jha. "I think that's exceedingly unlikely. The question is, is there a tiny hit to vaccine efficacy, or is there a large hit? I think we'll get some preliminary data probably in the next few days." More studies also need to be conducted to understand the clinical severity of the variant compared to previous variants. --------------------------------------------------------- In the next few days probably there will be some clues whether gloves can possibly continue its uptrend or otherwise.
I am wondering just how many of these foreign workers employed by ATA IMS that human rights activist Andy Hall claimed to be subjected to forced labor by the company. If systemic forced labor practices are being placed upon majority of these foreign workers, then i really hv nothing to say here but instead recommend immediate drastic and maximum punishment to be made upon this company. But then if Andy is really fighting for just a few (considered bad apples which are bound to exist), it wud sound rather ridiculous and shud not hv happened in the first place. Is it worth it?...the first thing the company management is going to undertake is retrenchment of all these foreigner workers wthr they like it or not due to loss of business,
The problem is these companies sometimes holds their passports when they first arrived because they are financially debted to the companies. Just open a hiring office in myanmar and bangladesh. Doesn't hurt while margin is big
Unlike natural immunity, vaccine immunity only focuses on spike proteins. The virus is clever and overcome this by changing the spike proteins. But some ppl are so unhealthy they have weak natural immunity

Is it worth the effort that due to a few complaints from some sour apples caused the company to lose some big contracts n business n eventually this will cause mass retrenchment of the entire workforce thus affecting the country economy. I am sure this is just isolated incidents of some worker dissatisfaction being blown up into big issues. These worker dissatisfaction can happen anywhere in the world.
all countries are on alert to curb the spread of new virus.Unless there is a big spike in number of death cases, glove sector will only start to move up...if not it will be just a short rebound...
Just don't get yourself trapped at this fake hype. During last year, gloves were speculated because there was no vaccine or cure available for months. It was still a mysterious virus then. Now, mrna vaccines has been developed. The good thing about mrna vaccine is it is able to tweak easily. As long as the whole spike protein is not changed, all vaccine will work. Just need some improvement..
Labour issue, CBP ban is a big issue. If UK terminates the contract, Supermax will suffer heavily..can’t believe such a reputable company could do such a terrible thing
Perhaps all employers who employed foreign workers need to house them in bungalows and everyday provide abalone to them to satisfy US criteria in labour issues.
Supermax net short selling just left 1.10% only not much for short sellers to buy back Supermax shares...Missed opportunity for Supermax as US CBP ban and Canada federal government contract ban still on going
It will be rotational play and flight to safety into glove counters. This is a real reminder that the pandemic is far from over. The other 3 (Topglove, Hartalega & Kossan) will benefit even more.
Hope not like ATAIMS…Denied in May21 but major supplier terminated contract last week.

We always downplayed ESG concerns. We only see $$$ but world is changing. We must demand our local big corporates to comply. Otherwise our hard earned money will vape in thin air like what happened to Ataims shareholders. Put the board at task and ask them difficult questions. End of the day they are paid to do that. Supermax must also be transparent about what is happening. We do not want suddenly UK announces a termination.hope stanley comes down from his penthouse
Watch: Man steals items from US store, walks away as security personnel look on Under Proposition 47, stealing goods worth less than $950 does not count as felony but misdemeanor. Cops say it has become a common sight in San Francisco, as the new law has emboldened criminals rather than making it safe for the general public

News from theguardian.com : Financial markets face turbulent week World stock markets plunged on Friday as news emerged of the Omicron variant – and futures trading suggests more steep falls when trading resumes on Monday.
Holger Zschaepitz (@Schuldensuehner) Dow Jones closed down >900 points in biggest drop since Oct 2020 as new COVID variant sparks market plunge. November 26, 2021 Wall Street’s Dow Jones industrial average is on course to shed around 2.5% on Monday and the broader S&P500 is tracking for losses of 2.2%. Other major indices are heading the same way with the FTSE100 expected to drop 3.8%, the Hang Seng seen losing 1.2%%, and the Nikkei to drop more than 3%.
However, there’s a lot that could happen in the meantime. If evidence emerges that the new variant is not as dangerous as previous ones, markets could rebound very sharply so the futures indices will be closely watched for the next 24 hours in the build up to the next session opening in Asia Pacific.
Worth quoting comments by Dr Angelique Coetzee, chair of the South African Medical Association and a practising GP based in Pretoria, who said it was “premature” to make predictions of a health crisis.
“It’s all speculation at this stage. It may be it’s highly transmissible, but so far the cases we are seeing are extremely mild,” she said”
Due to overwhelming response from glove investors, JPM will launch another Lelong sales tomorrow from 9am until 12.30pm. This is the last Lelong sales. But this time no more 1.61. the lowest will be any price below 1.80. Don't miss the last Lelong before Christmas. The Lelong sales are gift from JPM to all glove investors.
