Been thinking that way. But it has gone on like that since post-GE14. Only getting worse now. If the downgrade by Russells on government bonds happen, the bad sentiment will cause more splash effects, and then more will dump even more.
Mengniu and Yili Group are two of the biggest consumer companies in the world. Hard to fight them in China, thus Johotin's Mexico and Latin America thrust. Hopefully it penetrates deeper into Africa too. Both continents with huge market growth potential.
From what I see at the moment, been following for two three years, Johotin is avoiding the fight with the big consume giants and go where the market has lots of growth potential. Doing really well at the moment.
Its all because Malaysia factory almost fully run, thts mean biz good. So they expand at. Mexico so free up some capacity here for further growth. They could have a 5yr or 3yr plan. Thts would be better
Yeah it's to expand capacity true. But lots of obvious choices in ASEAN alone, but management chose the JV in Mexico. There must be good reasons to do so, so far away. Logistics costs alone will be a nightmare. I believe it's to penetrate the central America and Latin America market, which are mostly still in the lower ranks of development. Many of them are much underdeveloped, thus less potential to go for well known brands. Hopefully all will turn out well.
Yes paperplane...let see how they manage their cost...they have around 9% F&B customer from Central American region and mexico quite strategic location to those country...quite interesting...hehe
Yeah have been in Latin America for quite a while. The JV in Mexico is to push the markets within proximity even further I believe. Good move though. I'd say the management has great insights and long term view. Go where people don't usually go.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
