I assume analysts and big players due to the fact that they see annual company financial performances year on year and TS improving fundamentals YEAR on YEAR in TOTAL. They could extrapolate that year on year performance keeps improving, hence buying the shares at a low price for total future quarters. However, small players see the small picture and will sell their shares low and cheaply to the big players who see the bigger picture!

We can see the drastic drop of non current asset, i guess NSP oledi shifted out their solar plant.
So, NO plant=NO growth for this current moment. I dont c any improvement in next Q oso.

We refer to the above article that appeared in The Edge Financial Daily on 31 October 2016 with particular reference to the following paragraph reproduced as follows:

We wish to inform that our Executive Chairman, Mr. Loh Kok Beng did not shared with the press about Tek Seng is to close a RM40.0 million deal soon with clients from China or Taiwan.



Nevertheless, our Executive Chairman had mentioned about the solar division business is not slowing down. TS Solartech, its 50.69% subsidiary is expected to ramp up its production capacity based on the volume loadings from existing customers in China and Taiwan.

Already warn & warn you guys to run from TekSeng

TekSeng was only 40 cts last year when Emily Mah Phooi Lai talked about it. At that time few bothered. Now many have unknowingly boarded this hot air balloon being carried to holland.


calvintaneng Calvin warns wahaha,

Cheap is a dangerous relative word for a balloon stock whose fundamental is suspect.

It might still fall below rm1.00.

And later crash all the way back to 50 cts.

So be careful of buying into falling knives.

this company is not a gimmick one. u can check back its years of history how the directors/management bringing the company to continuous growth to date. the selldown was due to a retrenchment of 200+ workers and sending its price down 20%+ so for value investor, this is an opportunity to grab cheap than its previous market price. i don regret to grab more at such price.

I think you better go study "IFCA" thread carefully. The pattern of goreng up is similar. As TSeng has Taiwan owners I think they might just fold up and leave you stranded later. Last time Taiwan owners just disappeared from a Malaysian listed company without a trace!

Why people you solar heater?

To save money on electricity. But since Crude Oil has fallen so low the necessity for alternate energy has eroded.

And with massive overproduction coupled with weak sales TSeng is facing a triple whammy.

What seems to be the problem?

1. Tekseng announced a PROFIT for the year ended 2016, and guess what a higher profit that than recorded in 2015. What else do you need?

The quarter's result was negative.... of course I would have wanted it positigve as well, but guess what people go down with fever and cold every now and then. Where there is a restructuring naturally there will be some write-downs, impairments etc..... again nothing to cry about. If any, I think its a good time for management to do some buy backs and existing shareholders to accumulate further. Solar still has some time to mature as serious profit generator.
