Feedback during a discussion session with Cocoaland’s management, suggests that gummy candy sales in South Korea, one of the group’s export markets, continue to enjoy strong growth in FY16. In China, currently the largest export market for Cocoaland, the group suffered a y-o-y drop in sales due to imitation Cocoaland gummy candy products in the market. However, the problem has been resolved according to management, as the imitation goods producer has been detained and since then, Cocoaland gummy candy sales in China have rebounded
London Bis and Kheesan are obviously non comparable with others. Both are under the same common controlling shareholder. They always buy and sell machineries. How often we heard a company trades machines in big amounts. lol
With F&N CEO in the Board of Cocoland and strong shareholders in F&N holding 27%... hold this shares really at peace..... it keep printing money for the shareholders.... regret didn't buy more... haha!
The real catalyst and engine of growth is not China but in its halal gummy candy. I am looking forward to the expansion in Indonesia, this is an undervalue gem.
Halal gummy...It seems good prospects for a Malaysia company to sell in Muslim countries around the world. Malaysia is a country promoting halal for almost everything. lol
