Currently india largest generic drug maker facing quality problems on its drugs and has been ban by USA and EU. Hovid growth is limited due to production capacity. Hopefully the new plant will be complete next year and its backlogs order of 35 million will be overcome. Be patient all..

1) Oil price : How does it impact Hovid business? It should be slightly positive due to cost saving in transportation & raw material.

2) Strong USD and weak RM: This should be good for export business, unless most of the raw material are imported from other country. Anyone has clue?

3) Overall consumer market spending down: People still sick and need medicine, right?

From logic senses, I don't see Hovid business under threat, I see 2015 still good for Hovid with the new plant complete to fill its ordering backlog.

Feedbacks from Hovid IR,

1) There will be minimal impact as GST is a pass-through tax to the consumers.

2) We are still in the process of developing some of these products that are coming off patent. These products will be launched in the future upon expiry of the respective patents.

3) The warehouse design has just been finalized and we're currently awaiting approvals from the respective government authorities in order to proceed commencing the physical works.

4) Hovid Online Store is selling Tocovid SupraBio and it's one of Hovid's premium products that is continuously performing well as its health benefits are being proven with positive clinical studies results.

5) There are US companies selling supplements made from Tocomin SupraBio (extract from Palm Tocotrienols) manufactured by Carotech with different product brand names. The pharmaceutical business continues to perform well and it should improve further with the added tablet and capsule production facilities due to be commissioned towards the second half of 2015.
