Budget 2014 on healthcare allocation is 22.1 billion. Hovid berhad will continue to benefit from supplies to govt. current supplies to govt is a drug called Metformin which is a diabetes drug .the govt recognize that diabetes is alarming as they have cut subsidy on sugar. There will be more on switching on branded diabetes drug to Hovid 's quality diabetes range.

Hovid 's Metformin contract to govt will be renewed year end. estimation worth 15Mil a year.

Hovid teams up with Sanofi Winthrop for generic drug manufacturing which supplies to the government. Sanofi is global's big pharma. Government has always been trying to switch to more generic drugs in govt hospitals. Today budget will see more of commitment of generic drugs supplies.
