This product manufacturer date was Apr 2016.
Box show 50 gram but it was 100 gram tablets.
Some patients might not feel comfortable after taken the tablet.
Now see how Hovid response on this matter.

there will be financial impact other than impact on image.
its a very simple thing in QC to double check the strength of the drug yet they fail to do so.

Cost of the batch affected being recalled will be bear by the company.
Lucky they're in Malaysia, where the general awareness is low,if they are in country like US, consumer might as well as file a lawsuit against them.

there are chances if someone is suffering from the side effects.

the medicine is all good, just that they package it wrongly.
the medicine is 10mg, but they package it as 5mg in the box and blister.
this mistake that cause the doubling of dose is not a small issue.

if they export the affected batch overseas.
but i don't think generic medicine have a market in developed countries like EU and US.

they own up to their mistakes also u think they will go holland? go google about Tylenol case overseas and how the overall public responded to such responsible act. Or if that is too deep for you, let me ask you, which car deemed a more responsible manufacturer - Honda and Toyota who always made public recalls or some local brands like Proton who always hide their faults and never improve from mistakes? Think long term!
