-Excluding the foreign exchange loss impact (RM 1m), Hovid’s net profit in the second quarter grew 87% yoy on the back of higher revenue.

-A stronger ringgit is negative for Hovid’s profit margins because more than half of its sales are derived from exports.

-Expect stronger 2H.
Expect profit margins to recover on the back of higher utilisation of its two new production lines commissioned in 2Q. Boosted Hovid’s previous tablet and capsule production capacity by 30%.

Rm is getting stronger against Usd , thus should bode well for hovid margin as lots of raw materials are imported. Price should reach beyond 55 by end of year with increase turnover .

Weak top and bottom line. It seems that contribution from 2 additional lines to raise capacity of capsules was not encouraging. High PER 22x. Target price 35 cents.

Heavy listing of new securities.almost 1.4M new shares @ 18 cents looks like ESOS. total EPS this year 2/3 of last year. estimate price 2/3 of 40cents.: about 28 cents is rock bottom. its a wild guess. My old love is coming down to meet.......ha !ha! Good price support @38 cents so far.
"wait for me my love: my darling please wait for me"... Used to be a nice song. kong ago she came @25 and left @ 38, 42, 45. hope history repeats.
