@joetay, if krono use SSD for their cloud computing, then you can wait it free fall to 0.35 or less because they will lose money in next 8 quarters. What I will do is continue with HDD, recoup my ROI HDD first and use excess profit to invest in SSD. I think the storage manufacturer isn't driving the price down primarily for two reasons. One is HDD is still selling with better margin and volume considering how long HDD has been in business. And two, SSD is meant for niche market to keep it's margin.
It cost 5~6 times more per GB now. I think it only makes sense to start investing in SSD when cost per GB drops to 2~3 times per GB.
