AWC move liao...finally. Its stock price dropped suddenly last week was to shake-off weak holders (unbelievers).
The fair value is higher, so just hold on to AWC.

Rapid KL management is mostly changed entirely after the GE14, all projects talks from Rapid KL are halted, according to my source closed to RapidKL.

Just apply the same concept to all other Government Departments/Agencies/Companies. Can AWC continue to get government projects based on open tender basis? You guess it.

Unless AWC can speed up/grow its other divisions to off set the future falling of its government projects, or else, its revenue & profits will be at its best as what it was for past 2 years.

It means, future potential = doubt.

That's my 2 cent opinion, and I stay away from all government-related business companies, not worth to argue & won't reply.

Yeah agreed. I also mentioned earlier this counter is not for short term players. Need to hold at least 6 months above eyes closed don't ask. If you wanna earn, set notification when hit that price dump that's it.

If follow every one blind pull and push, you'll get trampled.

There is element of luck in every investment
Not everybody is deserved to win even though he has chosen a right investment initially
I am sure, you has such experience that a stock shoot up all of a sudden after you have sold all your holding.
Put it simply, if you are deserved to win, then you will not feel uneasy or uncomfortable after the price has dropped 50%.
If not, then there is a always a noise telling you all sort of negative things that your choice may not be right. But your rational mind said it can not be wrong because you has never seen a highway in kl city losing money. Profit contribution from construction works still look good for the coming 3 years. River of Life is a great project initiated by the company to create more income opportunity and excellent branding. But you just can't sleep well.
Why?
WINNING IS NOT EASY, YOU GOT TO FIGHT HARD TO DEFEAT YOUR OWN DISTRESS TO COMPENSATE THE ELEMENT OF LUCK THAT YOU ARE LACKING TO QUALIFY YOU IN THE CATEGORY OF WINNING GROUP
That is how we should interprete cold eye sifu saying: "never buy a stock that you dare not buy more when the price has dropped more than 50%." and Charles Munger said : big money is not made in the buying and selling but waiting.
So, if you do not have a right investing attitude, many experienced sifu will advise you not to buy a stock that will make you feel very stressful in the process of waiting for the big harvest. It is indeed not easy to defeated the negative noises that constantly block the road to success. Such noise has no sound but very powerful, not many can overcome it. That explains why there are more losers than winners in the market. 2 persons invested the same stock but ended up differently
Put such experience in your PhD thesis, so that your theory is more aligned with real life happening.

what we had observed is
the government had compensated the toll operators for not increasing the toll rate . But traffic volume keeps increasing and more cash will be generated .That is a certainty not my wild guessing

Actually, I've been holding AWC for quite some time now. Uneasy, not really. Just that I feel that there's no need to promote other counters / demote other counters in site. Traders / Investors have eyes to see which one they like. They like to see green/red graph they like to chase is up to them. I didn't check out Ekovest at the moment, but I may do so in future.

For AWC, I feel confident with the management at least for the time being. I feel that the company can have better growth prospect. They just need to work harder to do that. At the moment even if they did not have many 'project wins', they still manage to obtain some upside after the major slide. In depth wise, I may present once I gather the details for you. Cheers.
