We have to accept the fact that, foreign labour worker cant be treated the same way as domestic worker, thats what they signed up for, they wouldnt have come to Malaysia if they cant accept the risk and reward, this is the system that have worked for years, our country depend on foreign workers, we are dependent, fundamentally on cheap foreign workers, otherwise, we cant compete
why Reuters never interview Foo in Singapore, yet they interview Dyson Singapore ??
ATAIMS, be an example to all big Malaysian Companies employed foreign workers to take good care for them. How a wish of Malaysian workers to stay in 3 star hotel facilities' hostels provided for foreign workers.
PH means Pakatan Harapan people. The opposition group led by Anwar. How there go to manage the country if win,if such complain(act of rushing without thinking of others) lead to over 100k of investors lost big by average at least rm100k of money or total over rm 50 billion of money.
I make a brave move hentam buy at 0.82 1,000,000. Rm 820 K. Using margin. If it continue drop, mean the rest of my life, I need to work with BANK, to pay interest, If It rebound, mean another big steps to my early retirement. 一将功成万骨枯
sck82, Foo just finished meeting with bankers, tomorrow buys in all those who throw at 0.82 using margin and pledge his belongings, he will then push it back to 1.20.
You shall make quick moneys not even touch your margin.

Sue dyson for breach of contract. Most probably their sales took a dive as evident from the owner have to sell his multimillion condo in sg and resorted to this kind of dirty tactic.
any potential client ATA IMS can get into the pipeline in this instance? i think this will spell doom to their awesome QR to QR prediction in the future
i think its time now for manufacturing companies in Malaysia to seriously considering implementing ESG to the fullest..no more trying to cut cost on labour by hiring foreigns..its time to embrace minimum wage & hiring locals
this 'G' in ESG can get any super company into serious trouble
Fully support your idea keown83. Our companies with the support of some politicians are in complicit to get cheap foreign labour in preference to locals. Cheap and easy to exploit poor foreigners and this been going for so long already. Must put to a stop. These companies are greedy and the politicians are corrupt.

Nothing wrong having a big first class client or customer as your major customer but must make sure your company comply with accepted practices, not exploiting cheap poor foreign workers. ATA gets what it deserve to get!
There are 8,800 foreign workers in ATA group. These people are ready to go back kampung. May be at the end, ATA becomes subcontractors to VS or SKP, still got jobs to do...heheehee
Even if ATA has many other customers, all of them will stop their relationship as well. So no advantage if you do not comply with certain requirements.
Migrant workers Foreigners form a significant part of Malaysia's workforce. Most migrant workers in Malaysia come from Bangladesh and Nepal, and are employed in factories, plantations and construction sites.
Over half of ATA IMS's 8,032 employees are foreigners, according to the firm's latest annual report.
ATA IMS posted record revenue and profit for fiscal year ended March 2021 as Covid-19 induced lockdowns boosted demand for home appliances such as Dyson's stick vacuum cleaner.
Dyson rejected allegations earlier this year regarding excessive hours and cramped living conditions for ATA IMS workers, citing multiple prior audits it said had not found any issues involved in its supply chain.
Activist Hall said Dyson's decision to terminate the relationship would have huge implications for the thousands of workers employed at ATA IMS and Dyson should remediate ATA IMS workers.
The Malaysian government must also bear some responsibility, Hall added, saying he had made multiple complaints in the past year to the government about ATA IMS.
Malaysia's labour department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
