The group added that it had been in touch with Dyson for the full audit report on its labour practices, while highlighting the auditors’ view that the findings are “easily remediable with the commitment of the company’s management” and suggesting that parties involved discuss the findings in detail and develop a comprehensive strategy to address the issues.
Meanwhile, The Star reported Tuesday, quoting Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan, that ATA IMS would be hauled to court, in response to questions by several MPs over Dyson's allegations of forced labour against the company.
"It is erroneous to say we did not take action as we opened investigation papers when complaints were received. We had given a compound notice to them and it was not paid as of today," said Saravanan.
"As such, we will bring them to court," the minister was quoted as saying when wrapping up his ministerial replies on Budget 2022 at the committee stage in the Dewan Rakyat.
Saravanan also said the Labour Department was looking into the claims, as they involve a serious matter.

Seems like what Dyson complains in their Report may be as true as the Malaysia Governement investigation into the Forced Labour Issues.
If it triggers attentions to other major customers in ATA to look into forced labour issues , ATA management is really in headaches to forsee their significant drop in capacity of usage again and again.
I hope SKP and VS are now having a Big and Independent Task Force to spend millions to immediately rectify their foreign workers welfare etc to immediately mitigate whatever problems may derive form possible Forced Labour Claims.
All abang adik in treatments of foreign workers in this regions lar, so long foreign workers make a few thousand ringgits every month with high OT, and thousand ringgits equivalent to send back to their home countries, they are super happy. Except a few guys under influence to do the accusation and cause the boat sinking now, or already sank.
Powell says Fed will discuss speeding up bond-buying taper at December meeting
Dow be bad for another few days min until the outcome of the December meeting or be worsen.
No more Happy Christmas if those still in trading. Those in US who starts their holidays earlier and unloaded their positions, they shall enjoy a good Merry Christmas.
Yesterday, foreign funds dumped RM208.8 millions in Bursa. May be going to dump more and more (reverse their buying trends for the past one month), to go back big funds to celebrate their Christmas.
Very blur result. Losing your single largest customer, more than 70% sales at share price RM2.6 to 45C. What is the bottom of the stock. Those who hold will be thinking cost of holding. For those who look for opportunity, this is intriguing. Wait for two quarters result and thing will be clearer. Opportunity will be chance to own good stock. Who is in on the drop of gold or knife?
break above 0.5 today, more uptrend fall below 0.4 today, more cutloss but opportunity to collect
take care and goodluck. price already at bargain price, think positively there are those who are trapped above 1-2 why scared now at 0.4 all they need is to clear up the problem and find a new partner
If you like gambling, please continue to hold this stock. If you are a value investor, stay away from this trap. A company cannot sustain itself without business, and ATA is unlikely to acquire new customers based on its current reputation, at least in a short period of time.
You are right. The scenerio 3 years ago while Dyson pulled out from VS, VS was in perfect conditions to look for new customers to fill vacant capacity (no quality nor forced labour issues). Now for ATA to look for new customers with reputation of forced labour issues and quality not met France customers issues, they need double or triple efforts to do so. The worst is that they become subcontractors for VS and SKP, at least to run their productions when their forced labour issues settled (Dyson may close one eye to put them as indirect subcontractors)
yesterday lucky rebound. today. sure red. RM2.5 20% revenue = RM0.50 but the cost of production is high = RM0.40. RM0.40 is kind than most of the Price target given by banks.
This damage is permanent and will causes pain for a year at least. share price sure go down.

My comment
Beware: VS and SKP foreign workers could be in the same conditions as ATAIMS, as most foreign workers are controlled by cronies agents
When US customs investigate them, they could drop like a ton of lead
Actually thanks to yesterday hugh volumes at 950 millions shares, almost 78 % of Ataims NOSH, so contra operators are at least holding 25 % NOSH, so today they must tried very hard to push up before T plus 2 payment day due, due to Ataims management holding more than 60 % of NOSH, so today floating shares is little, question is whether these sharks is unloading big volumes today or tomorrow.
Dyson terminate contract ----> Dyson need to find new EMS to replace old EMS ----> Dyson Supply disruption ---> Revenue drop + Competitor makan their market share ----> Dyson investor ANGRY ----> Go back to old EMS ----> Problem Solved.
