Common sense lah, preference share is better then ordinary share. If you convert to ordinary share, consider a huge loss. Some more this pa have 1.9sen dividend annually.
Don't mislead others that convert PA to ordinary share need to pay extra 0.95.
Others see yours comment will know how shallow you are.
Tracy get 1.9sen dividend, not 1.9%
Base on current price is more then 5%

Hello, you convert PA, EG will say thank you. They don't have to burden yearly divided, since their cash flow will very tight for the coming few quarter.
If you have PA want to convert, just tell your reminser, they will settled with zero charge.
I never convert PA , because a company with Preference share, better avoid, Example Yongtai.
In EG case, PA hardly sell at open market, force to convert to ordinary share to dump.
A huge selling coming

For today announcement, this guy yesterday get 20k ++ dividend. Today convert , few more days you will see the share price plunge, dispose 1.2m shares. If nobody support, 0.2x coming.

5 years term PA, 3 years onward can convert to ordinary share.
Wait and see how many convert . Assume 15 million convert and want to dump, how low the share price will be?

Yesterday almost 400 lots queue for 0.335 when bursa halt.
Today magic show all disappeared.
Eg sky high price buy mask machine, but all trader spread Eg produce mask machine.
Kena sangkut and spread buy call to escape.

You just see Lambo, INIX, smtrack, orion and many other rubbish counter. They issue new share. They goreng up a bit, make the counter hot hot, then they will pass the rubbish.
Now is the 10 years never seen golden time to trap all youngster and aunty uncle.

For local mask market, i dont think EG can compete with china mask in term of price. I myself oso buy mask from china, i think most malaysian will do so. For eg investor, they better focus on their ems core business. I m quite worry to their cash flow next quarter.
