probably management holding back because of the duties and taxes and also for working capital ie more ffb milling as they have the EFB,EFB oil and power generation business

Today Nanyang Business News page 5, a Silly investment bank report advise to reduce invest in plantation stocks. I will keep this article, if December 2022 and CPO price is 10%+- today price then I will write to this investment analyst and ADVISE him/her not to write about plantation stocks in the rest of his/her life because knowledge about plantation is almost zero and mislead investors

Palm oil price is benefited from the strength of soybeans price and weakness of Malaysia Ringgit, RM against USD. The trading in soybeans is in USD whereas the Palm oil is in RM.
Cepat production of Jan,Feb & March in 2022 is obviously better than in Jan, Feb & Mar 2021. April onward until December, palm oil production is usually much higher than Jan-March. Since food shortage is so clear due to war in Urkraine&Russia., High Palm oil future is almost certain. Investment in palm oil is safe and profitable.

With CPO fetching an average price of less than RM4,000 a ton last year, Cepat made 16.38 sen per share. CPO price should average over RM5,000 a ton and production should increase by more than 10% this year, how much do you guys think Cepat could make?

Every $1,000 increase in CPO price, Cepat's NPAT is estimated to increase by $13-14 mil, equivalent to 4.2 to 4.5 sen per share.
Based on present developments, CPO is likely to average about $6,000 for FY 2022.

It doesn't matter how much CPO price up or cepat can make
millions coz you are not the owners, just shareholders who make money if stock price goes up. Problem is the price don't go up much and keeps dropping as people starts throwing once up 1-2 cents.

Ok to give u a good picture on palmoil ban by indonesia;

Indonesia producer can only sell domestically at Rm 3500 to Rm 4500 loh!
Their production cost is Rm 1500 to Rm 2000 loh!
Still making good profit but much less loh!

Msia producer can sell Rm 6500 to Rm 7500 mah!
Msian producers cost at Rm 2000 to Rm 2400, can make super abnormal profit loh!
