Turkish Airlines has signed a Definitive Agreement for Pratt & Whitney's PurePower PW1100G-JM engines to power its order of 92 firm A321neo aircraft, the largest engine order in Turkish Airline's history.
Yesterday news, published in Pratt & Whitney press release. This engine model is assemble in Singapore, machine parts is supplier by SAM :)
On top of that jet airways firmed up another 40 Airbus planes in November. How much will theses orders in Airbus be translated into awards for Sam eventually?
the problem is never abt the order, the order can only b strong and stronger. the problem lie on how fast the company can increase the speed and capacity to get more order. 3.5b order need to double the current sales volume just able to finish all the order by 2020.
My worry is that SAM's financial results can be manipulated. The reason being that the jobs are secured by the mother company. The Mother can `maipulate' the financial results of SAM from the number of jobs passed to them. I hope to be corrected?
mother holding by temasek, Customer by GE, Rolls Royce, Patty Whitney, Safran, Boeing, Airbus, i believe there is proper corporate governor, not likely to manipulate, anyway, personal opinion, in stock market u wil never know.
I understand mother gets the contracts. Son's contracts comes from mother. If this is correct, then mother can `manipulate' the profits of the son. I hope that I'm wrong.
as my understand, SAM get most contract from singapore 100% subsidiary Aviatron pte ltd. and there is not much inter company transaction involve. this my understanding. unless the Annual report is not showing some proper information. ( if there is 100% subsidiary, there is nothing much to manipulate)
@股海無涯 Is SAM production already hit bottle neck or the production is follow schedule for delivery??? Because from the qtr report stated, aviation business is "stable"
I do hope it will continue grow...let's see how it will be!!
That's the problem. Mother secures contract from aircraft manufacturers for engine parts including engine casing. Mother gives the contract for engine casing to SAM. Mother determines the profitability of the job to SAM from the contract price.
is subsidiary secure the contract, not mother secure the contract as my understand.
@TheRock for their production i really no idea, but i believe they having the ability to deliver as per schedule in long term. maybe stable this 2 quater and boast at 2nd half of next years. maybe stable growing every quarter.
no matter how, the 3.5b contract is there, they have to deliver, or they have to break the contract.
OR, the contract is fake, which i fell is unlikely to happen.
hahaha... if anyone can think that SAM and Temasek can manipulate the accounts better don't buy shares at all. What a ridiculous thoughts. Anyway was told at 6.80 to 6.90 very strong technical support. next move up it should face resistance again at 8.20 before moving to 10.00
Better than revealing my cake has no more space for candles. Kekeke
So, magic wand, what price can I buy weakness at? I'm less than 30k shares away to make the substantial shareholder list. I'm getting my printer ready to print more currency for this
