Are We Nearing A Fossil Fuel Turning Point?


Bottom line: it looks as if fossil fuel consumption as a whole slows down and peaks in five years (more or less), but oil will peak later because, initially, the renewable boom will reduce the use of fossil fuels in electricity generation faster than electrification of transportation.

Article shows an Oversimplification of so called renewable energy to replace fossil fuels so swiftly that it may happen prior to the maturity of Transportation via the sun or non-oil based. Accessibility to renewable energy is all about money. Money to buy expensive tech. Unless tech is given freely to the excluded groups. Even then, the culture and habit of switching to renewable energy can only be 100% upon prooven efficiency of the said tech (one that far exceed the performance of oil). Yes the time will come when oil no longer king, but It might be just pressed down to the same level as the other mean of energy source. To fully put aside oil...and thrive...as i said, alien tech.

Another 6 million barrel draw in reserves in the states. Since April reserves are down 30 Million Barrels… what happens when it becomes a deficit in a few months .. they use the SPR again which is at 40 year lows…
