The 1H results is really good, but since no dividend has been announced, there is no urgency accumulate IHH. The best strategy will be to kiv and move in when price drop sharply from current level. Wait.

Yeah, that's one of the minus about IHH right now. But some investors see it this way - it's a good thing that they are using the profits to pay for the expansion organically instead of taking too much debt. Anyway, I think it wouldn't be too long before it is completed. With the added beds, there will be more revenue and hopefully profits.

Hopefully we investors dont need the added beds anyway. Stay healthy always guys and stay away from these hospitals but do invest in it.

@lawyen - Agree with kcfan. Hopefully we won't have any use for these ourselves. But would be great if `health tourists' were to fully utilise them:-) The "stay healthy" part is wisdom.

As a result of higher EBITDA forecasts, we are revising our target price to RM3.31 based on 2013 sum-of-parts valuations with individual EV/EBITDA multiples assigned for each country. The overall 2013 forward EV/EBITDA multiple for the group is 18x compared to the global average of 10x, while the implied forward P/E is 34.5x which is also a premium to global peers average. These valuations are justified given the scarcity premium that IHH commands.

Wow! Some big buyer came in towards the end of the trading session and scooped up all the lots until 3.20! Is this the start to an upswing for IHH? Too bad tomorrow is a holiday. Hope this buyer returns next week:-)

I'm puzzled about those lots transacted at 14:50:04 -- how did those very small and continuous lots that ended in several "1's"come about? By the way, it might well be a local institution (EPF most likely) but I'm also wondering whether this buyer (could be more but I think it's just one) is from overseas. The time - it's about 2 hours after the start of European markets. IHH, after all, is international-class and there aren't too many health-centred counters of this size listed in the markets. This would be a great thing for IHH's share price.

For long term play, is still a buy. Keep for long, wealth forever. Don't ever speculate price for that few cents. This is my opinion, compounding and keep compounding.

If only we *really* know what's the right price and when to buy. "When" especially. Get this magical skill right and one can be very, very rich in a short time. I don't know of anyone who can do this consistently, and that includes Warren Buffet too for he's had his share of wrong timings.

Technical charts can help but they aren't perfect enough. And one needs to undergo a learning curve first before he can interpret them correctly. Even the pros can get it wrong. That's because the are other elements involved in influencing the movement of prices. George Soros includes this in the "Reflexivity Theory" http://www.forexcrunch.com/george-soros-theory-of-reflexivity/

With IHH there's another problem - it has been listed rather recently and there isn't too much data for TA to give more comprehensive and broader readings. But from what I see at ChartNexus.com, it has looked positive since a couple of days ago.

I don't know how it will fare in the immediate future, of course. As weiboy90 says, the last few sessions would have given the investor a better price - it could have easily been gotten at 3.11 last week. Those who bought it then are now have a margin buffer to feel more comfortable with the daily ups and downs.

I think this is the lesson for this kind of counter: when you have convinced yourself that a counter is indeed of quality and that there is potential of it going up, the time to buy is "on weakness". IHH had undergone this after that last short upswing when it went to 3.24 or so. That means buying at 3.11-15 wouldn't have been "a sucker's price" by any means... even if it were to go down from that range. That's because one doesn't know what the bottom price will be until the event happens.

The 3.20 now is 9 sen more expensive than last week. But for some, that's not the issue. They are more interested in momentum - if a counter is going up, then that's a good thing and it doesn't matter too much if it's now 9 sen more expensive. Should it go to 3.40 or more, those who feel it is "too high" at 3.20 will regret their not buying... as those who didn't when it was at 3.11 previously:-) That's how it goes with all the investors and counters in the stockmarket and it happens every day (with me today and also yesterday, it's with PasukGB).

keep buying...compounding effect is the word. KC you were right. Buy and keep buying. Next Year we will see where IHH will bring us to....
I am interested to see what is the dividend IHH will pay us. Look at Maxis, profit down but still consistent in paying 8% dividend. Hope IHH can do the same. Consistently pay dividend, then you will see all the fund manager started to scramble to buy IHH. That is when will start consider selling half of what we invested in IHH.

At last IHH break RM3.20 my TP said..
But i'm unable to see it last THURSDAY due to certain circumstance..
Told my broker to SELL at RM3.18..

Posted by PaulinaYong > 2012-09-01 01:39 | Report Abuse

Today i have been "rounding" KL & SELANGOR and during my tour i have seen few company on my roadside..
Few to name is PPC GLOMAC sdn bhd which is one of Glomac subsidiaries that build residencies in Kuala Selangor which i see is almost 100% completed.
In my opinion plus Technical Analysis i assume that Glomac should fly up to RM1.00 this is probably propel by dividend that will be announce around October or November..
Other than that strong sell of 2&1/2 semi-D house at Saujana X/Y/Z should propel Glomac subsidiaries profit thus translating Glomac profitability also..
Thus my TP for GLOMAC is RM0.92-RM2.OO(LONG TERM) if property bubble happen next year..

Hi Paulina, I can't quite catch your message regarding Glomac, mind to elaborate further relationship between glomac share price and property bubble next year?

The bubble next year you referred to means the grow or burst of bubble?

Are you implying the growth of bubble is positive to glomac share price? (what about burst of bubble?)

From TA standpoint what kind of pattern is it forming?

Sorry for the long questions, hope to learn from you.

Posted by PaulinaYong > 2012-09-01 22:13 | Report Abuse

Never mind kkbee ..
Yes,if next year Property BURST(not grow ok) caused by speculation and land price soar plus with cement price hike recently probably Glomac also will taking profit by ADJUSTING it house price according to market price..
But if you see TV or newspaper the MB said that government will take Fiscal step to avoid property speculation, but as you know MONEY can BUY POLITICIANS..
Anything can happen, for example we heard about cement price hike recently but in 2 and 3 days after that the progress to control cement price become silence.
Plus if in the next budget that will present in the end of SEPTEMBER probably there is stimulus for PROPERTY sector that are being waiting for property player since PROPERTY sector this year facing difficulties to sell their products(house) due to fiscal act by BNM this year..

From TA Glomac share price is undergone weakening in its strength, further eroding in strength probably bring its share price to RM0.80(happen in June) if this support breach futher purging effects will draging it share price to RM0.72(happen in Mei)..
Traders can BUY at RM0.80 floor in order to take short term profit since RM0.835 support has been violated..

roof most probably means IHH. I remember reading something about the forex exposure too - the operations in Turkey etc. But it's a double-edged sword which can work the other way too. If the other currencies appreciate, then this will translate into more gains when concerted to MYR. Anyway, I don't think forex will be too significant either way.
