I myself is a businessman. I want all my companies doing great.. Why should TF do good only for AirAsia and not for AAX? TF is a good business man, i believe he ia trying to work things out for AAX but it takes time.
However, Maybank is keeping to its “sell” call with an unchanged TP of 14 sen.
Mohshin said the risk of an equity call cannot be ignored due to the limited borrowing capacity of AAX’s balance sheet. The airline’s net gearing as at end-March 2019 was 7.2 times, and this could swell further as it might have to reimburse Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd for the PSC collection shortfall, he said.
Selling aircrafts is mainly for cash to solve ST cash flow problems. Risk of leasing back is known upfront as well but nothing is done except using fx as one of the good excuses. No way to cover its debts unless cash call. Good luck and is at best for speculation such as acquire MAS etc.
@Godofgambler, He only want AA to make huge profits at whatever means; even at the expense of AAX. He is a strategic thinker and knows that as long as AA make good profit, he is safe. Can see his reports ever year on AA selling all the good points how it made profits. But for AAX, every year has excuses why it lost money i.e. loss because exchange rate lah, high fuel cost lah, passenger load lah, etc, etc, and the latest was most ridiculous that AAX lost money because of disposal of aircraft but then AA has 90cent dividents because of disposal of aircraft's. You analyse the logic lah....
Careful !!!!!!!!!!!. heavy volume last Friday. T2 tomorrow and contra on Wednesday. Looks like it is a shot to spike it up a little to dipose off the syndicate volume.. If no takers a good dip for a buy later on. Bank call of 0.11 is valid. .
If accounting rules hadn’t changed this would have been an improved QR. look at the cashflow from operations. Positive not burning cash at all. Some companies can report net profit positive but cashflow negative. So who do you think is buying? Those people who see things from this perspective ofcourss.
