Don't worry about the meeting. They have got the approved fund already and once border reopen, they will recover in a year or two. The meeting is just to buy time. No one would agree with the 0.5% playback proposal.

Airport operator Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd and financial institutions (Class A) So proven if you owe million then landlord and financial institution will sue you till bankrupt. But when you owe multi billion then landlord and financial institution will accept 0.5% as final settlement?????
There goes someone who wrote a very long story about how AAX is end game and telling me that his analysis was logic, while I asked how is that logic and he concluded I don't feel he is logical only because I have vested interest. It went from 0.04 to 0.08.
Yesterday, MAVCOM called on AirAsia X to reassess its proposal to treat its customers as creditors and urged the airliner to provide refunds to them.
“If AAX fails to reimburse the affected air travel consumers accordingly, MAVCOM will not hesitate to exercise its powers under the Malaysian Aviation Commission Act 2015 (Act 771),” the civil aviation regulator said in a statement.
Will MAVCOM really act?
However, several users were not confident that MAVCOM will act decisively against Air Asia X, citing their personal experience with the agency.
However, user Syed Ahmad Syed Tahir told MAVCOM not to drag its feet on the matter and impose a deadline on AirAsia X.
“Warning is not enough. Give them deadline to refund or else take action to justify you as regulator!” the user demanded. – Nov 13, 2021
