from my friends in the oil palm companies, imported fertilizer prices have surged from usd120 per kg before the war to usd180 per kg today. This has forced some of the companies to start sourcing for local fertilizer brands which are selling at around usd 80 to usd100 per kg

In term of FA, the fertilizer division is the actual cash cow

Wondering if they will do more M&A since this division originally just a Swk plant/subs from PK Pertilizier.... would say a successful diversification effort from the management

1 single plant already can bring huge fortune for them....

@STDN237649 most people will TP at 0.4 no doubt, i believe it will go 0.445 as well and higher. and also will hit 0.51-0.52 i believe, not 0.56 haha. As of now it clear as day that got people collecting and pushing its price. Anything is possible in Bursa haha, might even hit it's IPO price in 2014 lol.

Apart from wheat, Russia is also one of the top producers of fertilizer in the world. Along with wheat, fertilizer will have the greatest price impact as a result of the war in Ukraine. While there are no futures market for fertilizer, market reports have shown that it had already been rising to its highest levels since 2014 (as much at 400% in 2021 alone in the USA), prior to the Ukraine incursion. It has even prompted the USA Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, to voice his concern on fertilizer prices to spike even higher and remain elevated as a result of the invasion
