based on current market price, the warrant exercise price could be set higher than 0.80. maybe 0.85- 0.90after discount from “5-day VWAP".

Sometimes goreng kaki not powerful enough , they need to accumulate bit by bit , every sen count ,
Until they have accumulated almost all , then only they will push up faster because only few retail buyers still holding . When they have pushed up to their target price and want to distribute their shares , the range of up and down will become larger and more volatile .

Assuming closing price before ex-date = 1.11

Ex-date price = (1.11 + 1.11 - 0.31 ) / 2 = 0.955

1 free warrant for 2 OWG shares.
0.31 is the theoretical warrant price as the exercise price is 0.80

Correct me if I am wrong.

Your calculation is wrong
(1.11 * 2 + 0.8) / 3 = 1.00667, so rounded down to 1

Expecting after EX, share price would be around RM1.00 based on cum ex of RM1.1x. Taking a premium of 30%, the warrant is worth about RM0.50.
