Wow, I do not expect it can rebound so fiercely within a day. What actually happened behind the scenes ? Anyway, congratulation to all shareholders, myself included.
Wow., I seems msia is the new target for Thai tycoons into the hypermarket and small retail segment. This could be the reason pick up in interest for mynews.
There is a fight to buy into Tesco and some groups need smaller store retail outlets to support the distribution and marketing strategy. Mynews is super cheap at usd 130- usd 150m and makes sense.
If CP grp buys in, it'll make complete sense. Combine maru cafe and their CP ready to eat products you see in Thai 7-11. Plus with if they win the Tesco bid, automatically add 600plus outlets to the chain. CP can introduce further innovation to the segment with 24hr delivery of groceries even.. 1.50 soon... Fly fly
Some party mopped up the shares over the last few days and I think we will not see the end of it... Possible move to 1.20 first. Don't foresee much selling que as most average for higher volumes will be post 1.20
There is some mystery to this counter. While buying is low on que, the real buyer seems to wait for volume to buy up. A buy in of 2 to 3m shares can push the price up more than. 10%. This means most sellers are waiting and confident for a 1.20 to 1.40 rebound.
