1 DC = 450 swimming pool water for cooling system

30 × 450 =13500 swimming pool water needed daily .

Try calculate the water bill with industrial tariff then u know how many qr np add on to ranhill !

THE surprise exit of Tan Sri Hamdan Mohamad from Ranhill Utilities Bhd has paved the way for YTL Power International Bhd to gain a foothold in the water supply sector in Johor

Chris..2 options either hold and wait to buy low again or cut lost. My opinion is buy within yr limitation so that yourself do have xtra funds on hands. Stay with ranhill and dont lose hope coz their projects are known to us and waiting to rise up. Also new mgmt need time to restructured after took over its company. Its a good stock.

Water in DC are not consumed. To say it needs continuous water supply are nonsense. Similar to your car radiator

that's true, a closed loop water cooling system will recycle back most of its water .. only old and obsolete plants still employed open loop water cooling system which is very inefficient ... talking from experience working in petrochemical plants ...

DC runs 24 hrs 365 days per year unlike radiator. DC produced xtreme heat. So wit water to cool with the right/acceptable temperature for DC. Level of water evaporation along with heat maybe high. Raw oil and water r natural resources. The needs r high.

many many years ago i went to one electronic factory that require very highly pure water for their processes. The water needs to be filtered through various type of filtration system to become very clean and ultrapure .. free from bacteria and electrolites!!.. once it reach that quality .. they just recycle it and replenished accordingly.. .. maybe DC still require lots of water, but not like restaurant and hotel..water flow non stop all day long !! some more, again..water tariff hard to increase ...unlike TNB. SO donno la how much Ranhill can generate more profit once all the DC come into operation.

Posted by Antifanaticracism > 2024-06-23 11:34 | Report Abuse

The problem is the profit dropped 9% although revenue increased by 11%. Business increased but profit dropped. This indicates expenditures increased rapidly most lightly
due to expenditures on frequently repair of burst pipes and replacement of of old pipes. This eats into profit that can't be increased easily without government approval. It needs v high capital expenditure to maintain those pipes

If ranhill value more than rm1 why untill now still no other company willing to offer maybe 1.10...1.2 1.3 and so on and sell on market with current market price?

Please think twice, why YTLp would like to take control on Ranhill.
