科技股MI

科技股例如FRONTKN,VITROX都交出优秀的业绩，不料MI交出差强人意的业绩，相信这是很多投资者意想不到的。

科技巨头在最新一季都交出不错的业绩，因此大家都预料科技股的业绩肯定会比之前的季度好，这也是为什么GTRONIC昨天公布的业绩不错，可是股价还是大跌10%，因为业绩比起上一季还要差。

而MI的情况比GTRONIC糟糕，因为盈利按年下跌了66%，这可是非常大的跌幅。

以往MI虽然盈利下跌，可是都依然维持20-30%的赚幅。可是最新季度显示赚幅只有6.5%。

不过盈利下跌是出现了一次性的开销，这包括7.7M员工奖励，1.7M研发开销和1M收购费用。去除这10.4M的一次性开销，MI的盈利有13.9M。虽然去除一次性开销，盈利也不错。不过营业额下跌确实需要留意。

随着盈利下跌，MI目前的PE在71倍。

也许有些人不看PE，因为有些科技股PE高，股价照样起。可是这当中有很大的区别。

一个是盈利进步导致PE降低，投资者看好公司前景，推高股价，再度拉高PE。

另一个是盈利退步导致PE增加，即使投资者不卖，PE还是会增加。

两者是截然不同的。

Tech stocks in Malaysia are twice as expensive in the US due to too may new investors and old stock gurus that promotes tech stocks.

Most stock gurus say the same thing: tech is the future. But that means you need to keep for long term. New investors misunderstood those gurus.

giving RM7.7m back to employees is fine but it should be apportioned over a 12 month period..The decision on giving the bonus I supposed is based on their year-end 31 Dec financial results...Unfortunately, it is charged one shot and hit the Q1 results, and thus distorted the quarterly results...

I don't think such a move is a good practice of corporate governance and I think Fund Mangers will now be tactful with management.
