General rule - palm oil is a long term play. But then again, that's applicable to plantation. Since this share is involve in repackaging palm oil and they sell in bulks to retailers, hotels, caterers and food factories/manufacturers, I'm positive this share could fly easily. Now price already at 0.37, quite a good price for those who wants to hoard their shares.

Bought in as well! 😅 Down almost 5% now. It’s like the stock decided to give us a surprise sale, but without the actual discount. Let’s hope it bounces back soon, or we might have to start considering palm oil futures as a side gig! Sik Cheong Berhad's IPO had a bit of a bumpy start, even though it was massively oversubscribed by 213.53 times before it hit the market. This made it one of the hottest IPOs to watch, but the actual market performance didn't quite match the hype.

When you look at other IPOs in July and August 2024, Sik Cheong's first day was a bit of a letdown. Some other IPOs, especially in tech and consumer goods, did much better out of the gate. Sik Cheong’s strong position in the palm oil sector didn't seem to impress investors as much as expected, possibly because of market jitters or just the overall mood after the initial buzz wore off.

It’s a reminder that even when an IPO is super popular before it lists, the actual performance can be pretty unpredictable, especially in more traditional sectors like palm oil. Timing and what’s hot in the market really make a difference in how these things play out.

Great,never learned lessons from catko.Be sellective n extra carefull when deal with no branding n not really well known plcs.Study the FYR n business .Compared wth catsco which give huge damage ,still this counter u can easily can get kill.Based on those got slaughtered at catsco many retailers will avoid n those who got the IPO will run too.

Congrats whom catch lower. It's a mistake for company to push price lower , people will lost trust to invest. Director, operator i know you read my comment. But listen to me, the lower you push the price the merrier it will be for us to take advantage.. and 1 thing the consequences, public will lost trust to invest in your stocks. Whenever you push the price higher next time after you s2cks public cash and trust loyalty.. you won't be able to attract the public anymore.

Halo,do u understand what is goreng?It has been goreng during listing to high 50.5 cts n now on corrections.It's not from low to gradually creeping up slowly.
Unless there r overall spillover positive mkt sentiments,it will still goes down to fair px of around 0.29-0.30 cts.Since DJ has been positive,the possibilities is 50/50.
There are some other good stock to invest.
Don't get trapped n good luck.
