When it comes to national car, most if not all malaysians will give you their piece of mind! There's no fond positive memory about Proton! The ever famous power window will forever dent any interest to buy national car! When Mahathir promote Iriz as the best of the best national car and turn out to be as troublesome as the previous models, Proton market share took a beating! Since then, Proton has become last choice! Perodua took the pole position and lion share of Malaysia passenger car simply because it is the least troublesome and reliable affordable car! Actually i am very happy that Mahathir wants to do 3rd national car whatever rakyat think of it! It will definately sink whatever credibility Mahathir still possess! We all know the gameplan, get cronies to do the part supplies, put protectionist measures and promote 3rd national car as part of patriotism! And of course threated rakyat that if they don't support this new national car, then they will end up as peasants! Nice! And like UMNO BN, this will bury Mahathir and Pakatan too! But i guess once 18 months are done, the Lims, royal institution and Anwar team will have great reason to purge PPBM and Mahathir!
