It is high time for each equal partner to Malaysia, specifically Sabah and Sarawak, to receive a substantial annual budget dedicated to the establishment of a new department akin to JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia), but instead, focused on the broader notion of spirituality for all Malaysians. This new entity, called JAKSIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Spirituality untuk Semua Malaysians), would represent a bold and inclusive step towards fostering national unity through a focus on spiritual well-being beyond specific religious boundaries.

Rebalancing Development Funds for Sabah and Sarawak: Historically, Sabah and Sarawak have not received the same level of infrastructure and social development funding as Peninsular Malaysia. Establishing JAKSIM with a multi-billion budget would be a significant step in rebalancing the allocation of resources. This department could support programs that are culturally specific to the regions, respecting indigenous practices while promoting spiritual progress in the broader Malaysian context.

Fostering Global Competitiveness through Moral and Spiritual Leadership: In an increasingly globalized world, nations are evaluated not only on economic or technological progress but also on their moral and ethical leadership. JAKSIM could position Malaysia as a global leader in promoting a balanced, ethical, and spiritually grounded society. Such an initiative could enhance Malaysia’s reputation as a peaceful, inclusive, and morally progressive nation.

Ini saja jalan untuk menjernihkan keadaan (yang telah dikeruhkan oleh jakimm)...establishing JAKSIM would not only recognize the equal partnership of Sabah and Sarawak but also foster national unity, address modern spiritual needs, and create a more equitable distribution of resources. This department would provide Malaysians with a platform for inclusive spiritual growth, strengthening the moral fabric of the nation and helping it progress both economically and ethically.

Yes, this alternative is clearly better because JAKSIM incorporates the rigorous scientific, safety, and health protocols that modern food industry standards demand.

JAKSIM is well-aligned with Modern food safety regulations, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) or ISO standards, focus on minimizing contamination, ensuring product consistency, and promoting public health through science-backed practices.

JAKSIM is well-aligned with the modern food industry that increasingly emphasizes transparency across the supply chain, driven by consumer demands for ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, and detailed ingredient tracking.

JAKSIM uses modern tech - In the 21st-century food industry, regular auditing, inspections, and real-time monitoring are critical to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Halal certification, in some cases, lacks the same level of stringent, frequent auditing, and may not fully integrate technological advancements like blockchain or smart tracking used in modern food safety protocols.

JAKSIM is ready for emerging Technologies and Innovations: Innovations in the food industry, such as lab-grown meat or plant-based alternatives, pose challenges for halal certification. Traditional halal standards may struggle to keep pace with these innovations, as they are rooted in centuries-old religious texts, while modern food safety standards are constantly evolving to embrace new technologies and scientific developments.

Way forward to progress as a United nation of peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak - It is high time for each equal partner to Malaysia, specifically Sabah and Sarawak, to receive a substantial annual budget dedicated to the establishment of a new department akin to JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia), but instead, focused on the broader notion of spirituality for all Malaysians. Need - over RM1 billion funding per year - 27 years for Jakimm.....and we got nothing? For a start, we'll ask for RM27 billion this year budget. Next we'll develop Sarawak ahead of Nusantara

Promoting Unity in Diversity (and for our beer-loving foreign tourist): Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country. The creation of JAKSIM would offer a holistic approach to spirituality that transcends religious lines, catering to all Malaysians regardless of their faith background. This department could promote values like compassion, unity, ethics, and mindfulness, which resonate across various belief systems. In this sense, it could act as a unifying force, reducing tensions stemming from religious divides and fostering a more cohesive Malaysian identity.

One stone hits two birds - and it's certification is FOC too. Besides offering an alternative certification for eateries to cater for unity, this serve as a Recognition of Equal Partnership and Autonomy: Sabah and Sarawak have long been recognized as equal partners in Malaysia, yet their unique cultural and spiritual needs have often been underrepresented in the federal budget allocations. By allocating billions annually to a department like JAKSIM, Sabah and Sarawak can have a more equitable say in the nation's spiritual and moral development. This would also recognize their autonomy in managing local matters, including spirituality, which is closely tied to their cultural identity.

Unlike the alternative that is gearing all out to tear our oredi fragile social fabric apart, our certification will foster unity like a glue
