The Chicken Rice Shop, is projecting a 15 per cent growth in sales this year due to increased demand for its food products both in the domestic and overseas markets.
Its chief executive officer, Wong Kah Lin, said that a favourable response for the company's exclusive food dishes has also prompted it to add another outlet to the one already existing in Taiwan.
The company's chain of halal family restaurants, which also has outlets in the Philippines and Singapore, is expected to register double digit growth in profits last year compared with the year before, Wong said at the launch of their new dish called Ayam Muhibah.
"Generally, we launch a new menu every two months, and basically the new product will generate increased sales of about 20 per cent." -- BERNAMA
