AirAsia Bhd clarified that the RM7 million outstanding to Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) as alleged is due to invoices that were wrongly made.
"There is zero debt or no debt," Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Group chief executive officer of AirAsia told reporters after the company's annual general meeting in Sepang today.
In a statement yesterday, AirAsia said the delay in payment was due to MAHB invoicing it for the wrong amount, which meant payment had to be postponed in order to correct the mistakes.
On Malaysia Airlines, he said any collaboration would benefit Malaysia.
Asked whether there is any real collaboration, he said, "We have to wait and see."
On dividend policy, he said, the management is going to make a recommendation to the company's board for a yearly dividend policy. -– BERNAMA
