After IPO listing chase to a high of 1.66 . slowly retraced back to current levels 87-90. If next Qtr result is good expect more upward projections. This stock currently trading at their low end. 1.66 {high } drop to 90 . This is a chip design company

Oppstar's new semiconductor wafer and component sales segment outperformed its IC design and post-silicon validation services segment, contributing RM11.67 million (53.76%) of the Group's total revenue in the last quarter.

The CEO acknowledges that relying solely on engineer headcount for revenue generation is not a scalable solution. Instead, the company wants to focus on adding value and implementing innovative strategies that yield higher returns. This is exemplified by their partnership with Samsung Electronics, which opens doors to recurring revenue streams.
OPSTAR aims to expand its business model (beyond Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) charges, which are one-off project fees. The company plans to achieve this by tapping into the recurring revenue stream generated when the products they design for customers gain market traction and require unit orders. This strategic shift is evident in their partnership with Samsung Electronics, which allows them to offer customers the option to tape out products to Samsung foundries.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has welcomed investors from South Korea to explore the various opportunities available in Malaysia and to collaborate in efforts to boost and achieve mutual prosperity.
Anwar who also the Finance Minister said he had met with several chief executive officers during the C-Suite Insight Session as well as delivered a speech at the Malaysia-Korea Business Forum 2024 after meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol today.
In his speech at the forum, Anwar also welcomed the presence of over 200 participants representing 147 South Korean companies from various sectors including semiconductor, electric vehicle, green technology, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold one-on-one meetings from 9am (South Korea time) onwards with major corporations, including Samsung Group.
