Hi, I am newbie in share.

I came across this situation, and hoping experts here can give me some views what all this about.

I bought "GADANG" some time ago. RM1.6 X 500 unit = RM 800.
Recently, when I login to my broker website to see the GADANG. Notice this:

Free Value: 500
Capped Share Value: 528.50

What this means?

Am I gaining something?

At price now, GADANG is RM 1.51, if I sell now, is that I will gain RM 1.51 X 500 = RM 755???

Or

RM 1.51 X 528.5 = RM 798.035???

Please advice.

Anyone can explain to me what this Capped Share Value is?

How to identify if the particular has this "CAPPED"??

Thank you.

hehe ... capped share value mean the value of the share price that investment bank accept or agree .. regardless of quoted price ... the counter quoted at ,done at 1.51 as for gadang but your investment bank ceiling price for this counter is rm 1.057( base on the figure that u gave ) ... so x 500 shares = 528.50 , ok ? but once u sold u received rm 755 if u sold at 1.51 la ...
let say he giv u 1 for 1 colateral trading limit then mean your trading limit is 528.50 la even this ounter shoot up to rm 10 ...hahahahaha
tak faham lagi then ring up your dealer and ask la ... dont need paiseh aeh .. their job lai ... good luck :)
