Merry Christmas to all my readers.
As we all know, 2022 is a rocky year, with the COVID-19 causing a wide range of problems. You should be shocked to know that USA has the most Covid 19 cases in the world. Currently the number of new cases is rising rapidly and shows no signs of stopping. The daily new Covid 19 cases has been increasing in the last few weeks in US as shown on the chart below.
Currently US has 102 million Covid 19 cases, 1.1 million deaths and 99 million recovered cases which will cost a lot of financial difficulties to their families and the United States in providing health care for the recovered patients for the long term.
There’s no question that the pandemic took a severe hit on US economy. On top of that, Congress has gone on a spending spree, with their “COVID stimulus packages” which have been filled with spending for pork or political projects. But that’s only a portion of what COVID is ultimately going to cost the country.
Average US annual GDP growth rate is about 3% in the last 70 years as shown on the chart below. US has no growth.
Managing a country is like managing hundreds of large corporations all over the country. For GDP to grow, US needs to trade with as many countries as possible. Instead of making friends, US has bombed 33 countries as shown below:
List of countries bombed by US after WWII
China 1945-46
Korea 1950-53
China 1950-53
Guatemala 1954

US military budget as shown above is self-explanatory. US has created millions of enemies who will take revenge sooner or later. Spending so much money from tax payers to create more enemies is counterproductive.
National Debt
US national debt continues to climb. As government spending being out of control, it is climbing faster than ever.
I can remember when it was said that a national debt higher than our GNP was unsustainable. Well, we’re well past that, with the national debt over 28 trillion right now and the GNP at about 22 trillion. So why haven’t we crashed already? Because the US dollar is the world’s reserve currency.
We literally export our debt overseas, because other countries need American dollars to do business.
With the current budget and infrastructure bills in Congress, there’s no saying just how bad our national debt will become. But with other major world players trying to take over the dollar’s place as the world’s reserve currency, things are on very shaky ground.
Gun violence in US
There are more guns than people in US. As a result, the US has become a country where guns are have become judge, jury, and executioner. Gun statistics show that over 36,000 Americans lose their lives every year due to gun crime. Approximately 100 lives are lost to gun violence daily on American soil.
Racial problems in the U.S. – a structural obstacle hard to overcome.
Deeply rooted in the history and realities of the United States, racial discrimination is a structural obstacle to the realization of equal rights and status for racial minorities, and also a profound cause of societal breakdown in the country.
The problem has existed since the U.S. history began. Slaughter and displacement of Native Americans occurred throughout the colonial period and the Western Movement period. Over a period of several hundred years from the establishment of the North American colonies to the Civil War, the slave trade flourished, and numerous African slaves died from labor and abuse. The gradual abolition of racial segregation against African Americans did not begin until the mid-20th century. In the past Asian laborers too suffered serious discrimination, with the infamous Chinese Exclusion Act as an example. Such racial discrimination has persisted in various forms throughout the country’s history.

In 2012, I wrote my first book “Malaysia: Road Map For Achieving Vision 2020” which was launched by former Financial Minister Tengku Razaleigh.
Blinken was informed by Wang Yi, so not to bully China further in order to derail the development and advancement.
China need not have to compete with USA head-on basis. Just continue to work on those necessary projects for the betterment of the economy, science and humanity in this world.

TRAVELLERS from China do not pose much of a Covid-19 threat to Singapore’s highly vaccinated and resilient population, though there might be a surge in mild cases if the country sees a significant influx of Chinese travellers.
