Another shareholder of Lii Hen Industries Berhad ("Lii Hen") has initiated a legal action on Lii Hen by seeking a clarification on multiple allegations of false announcements, contravention of listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia, breaches of statutory public shareholdings spread and stock manipulation by certain director. 

We are given to understand that the demand for clarification by the said shareholder's solicitor, Messrs Arulampalam & Co. has been despatched to Lii Hen on October 23, 2013 and a copy of the same has also been extended to Bursa Malaysia on November 13, 2013. An official complain will also be made to the Securities Commission soon.

In keeping with Lii Hen's usual bad 'tradition', not a single word was uttered in the form of an announcement to Bursa Malaysia since October 23, 2013, a clear sign that Lii Hen intends to keep the matter from the knowledge of all shareholders. This again proved the despair level of corporate governance of Lii Hen.
