KOTA KINABALU: Sabah lawyers will get their day in court after the Court of Appeal dismissed the Federal Attorney General’s appeal against the High Court decision to grant the Sabah Law Society (SLS) leave to challenge the 40% special constitutional grant provisions.
A three-member bench made the ruling in a proceeding that started at 9am on Tuesday (June 18).
The AG’s appeal was dismissed with no order as to costs.
The substantive hearing of the judicial review is to be heard by the High Court here, but a date has not been fixed yet.
