Working Experience
Mr. Chew is the Managing Partner of Zaid Ibrahim & Co., an advocate and solicitor firm in Malaysia ("Firm"). He joined the Firm as a Partner in 1991 to establish his Projects Practice. Before joining the Firm, he worked abroad at Baker & McKenzie, an international law firm in Signapore and in Chapman Tripp Sheffield Young in Wellington, New Zealand.

Mr. Chew has extensive experience in advising foreign and local sponsors, lenders and the Government on the legal aspects of major privatisation projects and transactions within Malaysia and in the Asian region.

Mr. Chew is acknowledged as the leading lawyer on privatisation and in the development and financing of infrastructure projects in Malaysia. He was also named as a leading lawyer in the Chambers Global Guide since 1991 and named as one of the Asia's leading business lawyers in the Asia Law Leading Lawyers since 2001.
