Chari was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad on 8 May 2009. Prior to this assignment, Chari was the Vice President, Sales, HP Financial Services Asia Pacific and Japan. Chari had worked in HP for over 20 years of which 10 years was in senior finance positions in various countries (Hongkong, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore) and 10 years heading Sales and Marketing for Asia Pac, Vice President of Personal Systems Group for South East Asia and Taiwan. Director of Commercial PC Group and Channel Management.
