Prior to joining Top Glove in 1997, Dato' Lee has more than fifteen (15) years of experience in the financial services, trading and manufacturing business having worked in established financial institutions and with a well-known conglomerate with diversified interest in the ASEAN region.
In the past twenty-one (21) years, Dato' Lee has been actively contributing to the development of the rubber glove industry in Malaysia as well as the ASEAN region. He has served for seventeen (17) years as a Board Member of the Malaysian Rubber Export Promotion Council (MREPC) from 2002 to 2016 and from 2018 to 2020. He was a Board Member of the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) and the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre (TARRC) from 2010 to 2011 as well as a Past President of the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) from 2009 to 2011. He was also the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the International Rubber Glove Conference and Exhibition (IRGCE) in 2014 and 2016.
