I sold all my Insas-PB and buy Insas
Insas-PB pay 3.8% interest and will be redeemed at issue price RM 1.00 during maturity.
I do so because I beleive Insas can pay better dividend and Insas share price will spike up above RM 1.10 at least few times in the 5 year duration (Insas-PB mature in 5 years).
So far I am wrong on better dividend but right on Insas spike up above RM 1.10

Income The problem is, I haven't seen anyone out there properly explain what's really going on – and what you need to do to prepare for it.

Allow me to explain the problem with Insas:
Market do not care Insas have
FD: RM 938,066,000
Cash and bank balances:RM 154,302,000
Associate company 527,008,575 Inari shares and subsidiary company 1,115,718,665 M&A shares.
Financial assets at fair value through profit or loss RM 228,481,000
Trade receivables: RM 517,332,000 of which RM 282,235,000 is loans receivables by Insas Credit & Leasing Sdn Bhd
Or
NAPS: RM 3.56
Market only value Insas as forward PE 5 to 10X.
Insas need to employ its cash hoard into new business/investment to generate more earning or else Insas will be forever a value trap.
2024-02-06 12:24 | Report Abuse
Insas is value opportunities because many of Insas assets are profit generating and in the form of liquid assets.
Take for example cash and bank FD, holding in profitable listed companies Inari, M&A and etc. Loans given out by Insas credit and leasing and investment in fair value financial assets.

I already knew 5 years ago
To unlock Insas value:
I try to ask for better dividend.
Leno try Insas canteeeek RM 6 RM 60 kambiiiiiing
Many newcomers hope some activist shareholder will come in to unlock the value
But I am sure BOD/management is trying hard to utilise the cash into new business to generate more incomes and entrap more value into insas.

Most banks & booking firms are not giving marginable value, cap the price or DF facilities for these stocks which are trading at very high PE & price to book.
Everything go back to fundamentals - PE, price to book, gearing ratio, cash per share, sustainable earnings on existing operations, good & conservative management team, rather than promises on new ventures & M&A transactions

We longed for whatever we miss or don’t have and forget about what we have. We are trapped.
We are trapped in our past: Anger, arrogant, guilt, regret, resentment, grievance, sadness, bitterness, pain, hate and all forms of non-forgiveness.
We are trapped in our future: Hope, expectation, unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry and all forms of fear.
Nothing ever happened in the past and nothing will ever happen in the future, it all happens in the Now. What you think of as the past is a memory trace, store in the mind, of a former now. When you remember the past, you reactivate a memory trace and you do so now. The future is an imagined now, a projection of the mind. When the future come it come as the Now. When you think of the future you do it now.
So set yourself free from the baggage of the past and the expectation of the future. Live in the present. “THE NOW”
Accept what you are now with no judgment. Acceptance does not mean give in or give up, it simply mean be aware and conscience of what you are NOW and take control of it. Act now.
If you are walking in the park, feel the breeze, see the radiant color of plant and flower around you, hear the voice of mother earth.
If you are nursing your baby feel the warmness, the heartbeat, the closeness, the bond and love that engage you both.
If you are reading a book feel it as if you are the author or the character in it.
If you are working feel your work as work of art and labor of love, feel your energy radiant from your body, the lightness of your body and clarity of your mind and if you met a deadlock take a break and engage with other activities, talk to your colleagues, family or play with your children, walk in a park and when you returned to your work the deadlock would seem not so complicated as you first encounter it.
If you find yourself quarrelsome, angry and frustrated it is your unconscious ego past and worrisome future that control you, be conscious now and relinquished your identification and freed yourself from your mind, when identification and ego melt away true communication begins.
If you find your life situation unsatisfactory, unpleasant or even undesirable, surrender to the “NOW” thus free yourself from the negative emotion of the unconscious past (Anger, arrogant, guilt, regret, resentment, self pity, sadness, bitterness, pain, hate and all forms of non-forgiveness) and feel the positive energy flowing through your body (Courage, passion, compassion, determination, strength, joy, calmness and peace of mind) aware and conscious of what you are now, take appropriate action to change the situation. Plan and focus on what you can do now, a step at a time, a word at a time. Make sure you don’t start to run “mental movies” project yourself into the future and so lose the now. Any action you take now may not bear fruit immediately but if you focus on each step you take now the future will take care of itself.
Hope everyone learns something, no point to visit past animosity and trapped yourself in the past

But surely on and off Insas share price will spike up because everyone have accounting knowledge will know indeed Insas is deeply undervalued.

When you see TTB who has predicted market crash since 2014 and suddenly turn bullish about Malaysia Market 2024, you should know what is coming.
In the 2023 Investor Day of icapital.biz Berhad held on 5th Nov, I gave a rare presentation on Malaysia’s longer term investment outlook. My talk was titled “Why Now is the Right Time to Invest in Malaysia.” Other than China’s economy propelling ahead, the political stability that Malaysia has been enjoying recently will allow the country to
address her many structural problems.
In the midst of the pandemic recovery, geopolitical tensions, political turmoil, soaring inflation, volatile exchange rates and extreme climate, the future seems like a scary place to be in. My simple advice then was that now is the right time to invest in Malaysia and that icapital.biz Berhad deserve a place in portfolio of investors. I continue to maintain that view.

KUCHING, 29 NOVEMBER 2023 – Industrialised building systems specialist, Sarawak Consolidated
Industries Berhad ("SCIB" or the "Company"), today celebrates significant milestone in its Q1FY2024 financial results. Demonstrating a remarkable turnaround, SCIB has not only boosted its revenue but also
transitioned into profitability, a testament to the strategic acumen and diligent efforts of its management team.
The Group announced a robust revenue of RM39.4 million for the quarter, a stellar 30% increase from the RM30.3 million recorded in the same period last year. This strong performance is further accentuated by a profit before tax (“PBT”) of RM2.1 million, a remarkable recovery from the loss of RM0.9 million in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal year.
The Manufacturing division, the cornerstone of SCIB's success, reported a revenue of RM29.6 million and a PBT of RM4.2 million. This is a significant uplift from the RM24.2 million in revenue and RM1 million in PBT seen in the same quarter of the previous year, driven by increased sales volume of foundation piles and enhanced profit margins.
In the Construction/EPCC segment, the Company registered revenue of RM9.8 million, a positive development attributed to ongoing road maintenance and school projects, despite a marginal loss before tax (“LBT”) of RM0.3 million, primarily due to higher expenditures.
In the latest quarter, SCIB's financial performance significantly outstripped the previous period, with revenue soaring by 18.3% to RM39.4 million. This marked increase is a testament to the Company's robust sales and operational efficiencies. More impressively, PBT witnessed a remarkable leap, which is a clear indication of SCIB's successful strategic turnaround and management's effective decision-making in navigating the market and optimising operations. This outstanding growth in both top-line revenue and bottom-line profits underscores SCIB's strong market position and operational excellence.

Philip ( buy what you understand) Some bad choices to be made, this year I cut loss of almost 50% on skpress for their reduction in contacts of Dyson that flew over to Vietnam due to lower costs and better supply chain management. I expect to be wrong, but I think for now I will transfer the funds to SDS over the week, bought from 0.72 onwards since 22 until thaipusam. I have good feelings about this little company that is pulling all the right decisions and managing it's growth very very well.
