I dont know if the main reason other airline could offer cheaper than AA is due to sending their plane to Ah Beng's workshop or less maintenance to their plane. Are you trying to say that?

AA is no longer price competitive. I found that even Jetstar or Tigerair can provide better fare in same route they operate together.

There is always a reason why they want to buy media as there are many more business out there...

Sime Darby Bhd is currently the company’s single largest shareholder, holding 32% equity interest in E&O. Sime Darby first bought a 30% stake in E&O in September 2011.

Meanwhile, HwangDBS Research said in its report that E&O is expected to embark on aggressive landbanking in Kuala Lumpur, Johor and overseas on top of the STP 2 reclamation project.

“These could raise net gearing to as high as 100% from 35% currently, but can be managed via JVs (joint ventures) and potential equity fund-raising,” HwangDBS Research highlighted.

Both RHB Research and HwangDBS Research maintained their “buy” call on the counter with RHB Research targeting a fair value of RM3 a share and HwangDBS RM2.90.

The buying interest is always there for SPAC counter for those who speculates, for the momentum of share trading, for those who believe, and after all, before any real acquisition happens, all investors in SPAC is buying a "hope". This is the strongest reason for this share to keep moving.

Sona is a SPAC company which is a shell company with no operations but have 3 yrs from listing date to acquire assets.
To date Sona has $550mil proceeds from IPO. As compare to two ealier listed SPACs - Hibiscus and Cliq which raised proceeds $235mil and $364mil respectively.
Today Hibiscus share is trading at $1.4x, from a initial start of $0.50. It would be normal expectation for Sona to reach a higher scale or even at least similar to Hibiscus a year from now as both explore in same O&G sector and SPAC company.
It maybe highly speculative for those who buy Sona now. But with Sona has cash in hand $550mil and acquisition time frame of 3 yrs. The risk taken could be highly rewarding for investors. I would think to buy and keep it for at least 1 year.

AA could never make money in F1 or even breakeven, the purpose is mainly to create brand awareness as F1 is the sports most people watch around the world. Tony owns F1 team, football club QPR all these are not mean to make money as first priority.

Well, compare to Europe country like Germany, i think local airline never has labor strike that causing massive flight delay like the one happened in March this year.

Indonesian plane crashes into cow and skids off runway

An Indonesian passenger plane has skidded off a runway into a field after crashing into a cow.

The Lion Air plane, with at least 110 passengers on board, hit the cow as it came into land at Jalaluddin airport on the island of Sulawesi.

No-one has been reported injured, but the cow was crushed to death under a plane wheel.

The pilot, Iwan Permadi, told the national news agency Antara that he could smell "burning meat".

He said he initially thought there were dogs in front of the plane, "but it turned out there were three cows wandering in the middle of the runway".

Transport ministry spokesman Bambang Ervan told AFP news agency that all the passengers had safely disembarked.

The airport was closed after the incident, affecting people's travel plans for the Eid holiday. It has now reopened.

Indonesia relies heavily on air travel to connect its more than 17,000 islands, but the country has one of Asia's worst air safety records.

Lion Air is one of Indonesia's biggest private carriers, and has been expanding rapidly in recent years.

In April this year, at least 22 people needed hospital treatment when a Lion Air plane on a domestic flight missed the runway at Bali's Denpasar airport and came down in the sea.
