AA listed in Bursa in 2004, the first dividen payout only happened in 2011.
How long does it takes for AAX, with much smaller scale and fleet size, to start paying back dividen to investor?

Kenanga:
the exercise would dilute FY13 EPS by 4.4%
1). We are neutral-to-negative on this corporate exercise by KPJ.
The reasons are :
(i) The exercise would be EPS dilutive;
(ii) KPJ’s net gearing would still remain the same despite utilising part of the proceeds to pare down debt.

Is still within my expectation those who panic sell will end up panic buy. And those who bought at low price yesterday will sell for quick profit. That was what happen in this morning. A straight line from peak to bottom...many trapped.... there could be more going to cut loss if no dividen payout. After all somebody is going to foot the $70mil bill. If is not shareholder who else? :)

AAX founded 2007, fleet size only 10 planes...only 10 planes growth over 5 years...?

Palm tumbled to the lowest level in more than three years as global supplies of the world’s most-consumed cooking oil climb the most since 1999 and demand expands at the slowest pace in more than a decade.
Futures slumped as much as 3.2 percent to 2,151 ringgit ($672) a metric ton in intraday trading on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives in Kuala Lumpur, a level not seen since October 2009, before closing at 2,170 ringgit. Soybean oil, an alternative, fell to the lowest level since 2010.

DrPitchard, well i did not lost money in Supermx...yes i was quite piss off with it, i adjusted the strategy once i understood this counter, i noticed there is a timing to buy and sell, it eventually reduced my exposure and i went on for profit taking....Afterall, market is always smarter than us. I agreed with you on your opinion and analysis in this stock. Those who think there was 100% gain is up to them to say so.
Many other stocks shows high and low in past 52 weeks with over 100% gain, provided if you manage to buy at lowest and sell at highest. A dream come true for investor correct?
apprentice, if we keep a $1 share which pay 1 cent per year we will also get 100% back after many many years as long as it dont go PN14, just matter of time. However money that invested could have got a better return else where in same time frame. If we have invested in not-so-performing stock, the oppourtunity cost is another cost we pay.
Yes u r correct this counter swung more than 100% up or 50% down, indirectly you agreed with our point that this counter goes up and come down drastically, that is what we wanted to say.
If u follow ColdEye, he has once pointed out Kossan and Harta as his top pick of glove stocks earlier this year. I dunno why Supermx was never in his radar. You are smart enough to think why, or u think u r smarter than ColdEye also no ppl will object...Happy trading folks....

AAX also expose to currency exchange rate risk as the exchange rate losses may be significant as financial results reported in ringgit.
By end March 2013, 79% of AAX borrowings of RM1.4 billion were denominated in USD. Yes, RM1.4 B....
With recent Fed pulling out from bond buying program, definately there is already impact to USD/MYR, look at recent chart where the line is heading to

Is nothing wrong but also why at the first place going into non profit ruote?
Of coz i agreed we have no crystal ball to see the future but again all these cancellations shows how vulnerable the long haul flight business and high exposure of risk in fuel cost for AAX. Announcing new ruote will that turn into non profit as well? Why should an investor be excited about new ruote?
Abu Dhabi was in the plan, it was suspended.

On 12 January 2012, AirAsia X withdrew services to Delhi, Mumbai, London, and Paris.
On 31 May 2012, AAX withdrew service to Christchurch, NZ
On 22 June 2012, AAX terminate service to Tianjin.
AAX have also suspended Abu Dhabi.
On 8 October 2012, AAX gave just 7 days notice to withdraw services to Tehran.
Will annoucement of new destination excite the share price? Pls look at how many destinations been terminated just last year alone.

i think is still early to speculate the impact from Paragon. Further the retailers are mostly new. Both serving different market segment and both malls should in fact compliment to each other rather a direct head on competition.
Competition may happen If occupancy rate is low, but as Hunza said they already leased out 85% of retail space, year end hit 95%. So i dont think this is a zero sum game. The cake can still expand bigger. The population is growing, more shopping mall needed in future.
MRT constructions are just temporary as it will not go on forever. On positive side, it will bring more crowd to Sg Wang after completion next year.

Thanks Hustle...that is not really benefit to shareholder. Imagine the dividen announced is $100, you given a $100 voucher to purchase AAX ticket. The ticket that you purchased will sure flow back a certain amount of profit back to AAX. So in actual you get less dividen and AAX increased sales indirectly.
