While you are enjoying your CNY in 2020, will you even have the slight knowledge of what will happen to crude oil prices a few months down the road?

Your theory hold true if crude oil stays above USD70pbl.
Fyi, in 2020, crude was below NEGATIVE USD30 pbl.
Volatility is the name of the game.

The tech theme is dragging the O&G attraction for DNEX.
Wish they carve out DNEX-O&G, it should perform better on its own.
Vice versa when O&G theme subside, at least it would drag tech theme.

It's not a bubble. Know the difference between tech bubble or dotcom bust in 2000 vs today 2022. Though, you may not be born yet.
It's just consolidation in reaction to expectation of rising interest rates globally may hurt tech companies with high valuations based on future profits. Higher rates means that future earnings are worth less today.
This statement will be true when a company has interest bearing debts.
Thus, choosing a fundamentally strong company is important to journey through the cycle.
Just to let you know, there are many cycles of ups and down throughout less the many decades, and you don't see Bill Gates dumping Microsoft because of interest rates rising or see Larry Page selling off his Google shares due to Nasdaq collapse.

EPF is a massive cash generator. They are able to keep good equity for decades which you can see especially the top30 KLCI components.
As at end June 2021, the EPF’s investment assets stood at RM989.14 billion, of which 37% was invested overseas. In Q2 2021, overseas investments generated an income of RM8.71 billion.

EPF has many different funds.
It depends on each fund manager to invest.
As EPF needs to declare dividend annually, I believe their strategy is investing equity, REITS, MGS, corporate bonds, etc.
Inari offers good dividend yield and moderate capital growth. Rarely tech stock offers good dividend yield, which confirms Inari's ability to generate high free cash flow, which is good.
It meets EPF criteria.

Do take a step back and analyse what you commented.
Glove is a long term need for major healthcare industry. The fact that it has a massive rally last year is due a ONE OFF pandemic effects and this type of pandemic of this magnitude is once in 100 years.
Thereafter, it will fall back as demand reduces + spot prices not required and ASP drops back to pre-pandemic level.
Tech on the other hand depends on the company's innovation and technical know how. Many tech companies do fail if they do not innovate and the tech growth into more complex offerings for customers.
Can't really say much about Genetec as it's massive really is merely a EV theme play. For Genetec to continue to stay at this price and grow, will really depends on the orderbook that EV and car manufacturers looking for EV factory automation line assembly equipments. So far, not replenishment of order book since June 2021, high probability, this counter may be just another fad.

China is top notch in managing COvid-19.
Whole of China currrently has less than 300 cases.
Besides that, they also produce gloves and are our competitors.
That is why the top 5 global glove manufacturers export at least 70% of their product to US and Europe.
