The fundamentals for Puncak is good. Latest MIDF analysis say TP is RM4.04. WSIA is not absolute. Concessionaires can get injunction to stop WSIA under federal constitution if comp not fair. But ungno unlikely to want fight within their family over this. Negotiations still on going. So why panic? Why panic at all? As I noted, the fundamentals for Puncak is good.

But from my research both from an analyst http://journeytowealth88.blogspot.com/2012/09/puncak-niaga-free-warrants-and-bond.html and from Puncak's note to MSWG http://www.puncakniaga.com.my/pnhb2/data/egm-2013/MSWG-10-June-2013.pdf the total dilution effect of both warrants and SUKUK bonds is 26% (10% and 16% respectively). So the share price should be RM5.42/1.26 = RM4.30 per share. Correct me if I am wrong. But conversion of the SUKUK bonds (dilution effect is 16%) is at least 3.5 years from today - which is a long time in share trading.

@stkoay. I agree with your calculations. Add in the O&G division of RM1.80/share and we can get RM5.42/share for Puncak!

@digiuser016. If you call it speculating, we are all speculating to a certain extent. Where can you get 100% accurate info before you make a decision? There will always be some grey areas. We can wait, but for how long? That's why the ladies in some ways are better decision makers. They are generally very detail, more detail than most men. And they factor in their feelings and emotional reactions. Just read angelina2's posts, if you can understand her posts, to see what I mean!

Who say it is gambling? Gambling is zero-sum game. Stock market trading is no zero-sum game. Requires a lot of evaluation - brain work. It's just that Puncak is one of the the more interesting stock. It's like what OTB said: Puncak is a beautiful maiden everyone wants to marry. Sometimes she say yes and then she say no. But faint hearts no win fair ladies, especially Puncak!

@stkoay. Yeah massive sell at RM3 in one minute at 4.59pm but ends with a buy also at RM3. Warrant rebounded to RM2.11. I am also holding warrants. @hng33. Warrant not much, only 41 million warrants or 10% of Puncak's issue shares, have 5 years life-span. Some of parts already valued O&G div at RM1.8. So value of water asset RM0.90?! Also don't forget construction business. RM4 is calculation of analysts, see above. Let's wait for the fed deal.

Anyway. In this bolehland, anything can happen and will happen, including Puncak at RM8! We will see who gets the last laugh!

@iafx. How do you know? Did you read the article in Mkini? @hng33. The billions involved in Puncak and Gamuda is as much, if not more than the RM8B of the Langat2 and LRAL2. I don't think they will sacrifice one for the other, otherwise they are not good businessmen. They want both. And I think they will get both. It's depends on how the interests of the powerful parties are aligned! It's pure politcal horse-trading.

@hng33. I disagree with CIMB's report for reasons I mention above. They did not factor in the politics. We will see.. If I am wrong, I will just hold. If I am right, I make a lot of money!
