Then he shouldn't be calling any forumers' names when he do not like a comment. He should not behave like a BTs!! I also do not like what he did and say when Puncak price was down. But I did not insult and call him names then.

@skng74 & cao cao. Why don't you get out of this forum if you don't like 'crap'?!! Instead of being BTs!! Everyone have the right to discuss and give opinions without being insulted!!

It seems that they are going to disqualify ungwah over S2. But Chew will still not win as PR will likely register a substitute candidate on nomination day. However, even kali will likely not remain as MB. If ungwah is disqualified, I suspect the substitute candidate (Azizah or Izzah?!) will become MB.

angelina is correct. Cost of EPF's share holdings is the WEIGHTED average cost of all their purchases of that share. So if their last purchase is say, RM3.5/share, it does not mean that their cost is RN3.5. It may just increase their weighted average cost per share by say 10 sens to RM2.5/share! So if they sell at RM3.3/share, they are still making a realised profit of 80 sen per share!

Yeah, I think so. Otherwise, all his bets are off.

Kali just promised full disclosure of the MOU in a week's time. In a week's time, the permit for Langat2 to proceed would have already been given i.e. the disclosure would be too late for opponents to stop the deal.

@stkoay. Look at the warrant..going down. Son leading the mother down? So long as no concrete clarification from KSL management whether poor results will be repeated next, quarter, price will dip..! Good assets do not compensate for a management in which investors have lost a certain amount of faith.. a management which has lost some credibility and perceived to be a bit dodgy.

Please keep our eyes on the ball - the RM9.65B is the baseline. Sell-down already begun with the son?

Also, don't forget: that Engtex shot up is sign that deal is on. All signs point north for Puncak. But I expect a sell-down prior to shooting up. This is to ensure that some parties can still get in and scare retail investors to sell out as much as possible. Buy opps at the possible sell-down!

Engtex,JAKS, etc will likely get share as sub-contractor. Remmeber, Puncak also has piping expertise. Puncak and Gamuda will likely be main contractors, otherwise how to persuade especially Puncak, which is linked to angno, to accept? Also Gamuda is linked to Perak and Perak govt has a majority of one in the state assembly.
So still time to ride the tiger, anyone?

It's only a MOU. There is a chance that fed gets Langat2 and LRAL2 approved and play out kali (he already settled his debts) by not taking over water concessionaires and transferring to Selangor. In this unlikely scenario, Puncak and Gamuda may still get a juicy slice of Langat2 and LRAL2. Since deadline for ALL necessary approvals is 25th Mar i.e. 2 days after Kajang, kali will have to work doubly fast!
However scenario is unlikely because, after kajang, ungwah may still be able to stop the project by retracting the approvals and fighting the fed in the courts which will delay the project to the costs of all concerned, especially the $$$backers on both sides. So unlikely fed will play out kali.
But I think ungwah interest is to ensure 'kau sui' for all, especially his $$$backers. Conclusion: the outlook for the takeover and top-up is positive.

ASB is Amanah Saham Bumiputra, the unit trust fund for Bumiputras only. For those who are not local, Bumiputras are 'sons of the soil' referring to the Malays, the aborigines or orang asli of Peninsula Malaysia and the natives of Sabah and Sarawak. Bumiputras form the political bed-rock of support of the fed.

Sandiwara. Follow ASB because if they lose money, big trouble for Fed! EPF not so big trouble.

Just my feeling, otherwise it won't creep up. Price did not dip below RM3.30. Also KPS experienced two purchase totaling 390K shares at RM1.91 per share.

http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2014/03/03/only-langat-2-legally-binding-in-mou/
In the ninth paragraph of the article, according to Rafizi, the RM2B is offered by the Fed on top of the RM9.65B making the total take-over offer RM11.65B. Also Langat2 and LRAL2 is now under negotiation. I bet that both Puncak and Gamuda will get a sizable chunk of this RM8B project. Puncak may be the main contractor of LRAL2 (the piping system for water distribution) and Gamuda the main contractor for Langat 2 (the treatment plant).
2014-03-03 21:47 | Report Abuse
That's where I figure the RM2B top up will go to. This plus juicy contracts in Langat2 and LRAL2 for both Puncak and Gamuda will seal the deal. But kali will have to act fast; the pressure and temperature on him is rising.

It's a very speculative stock; BUT we all know that the base-line is RM9.65B. So far, ALL media reports speculate on the higher price. I figure that I can only win if I hold!

The privatisation/takeover laws are very weak. They allow controlling shareholders to avoid the compulsory offer at 10% above NTA by using capital reduction approach as in Perak Corp!
