The trick is buy this counter, put it under your pillow or in your closet, dont join this forum if you wanna avoid hypertension, dont watch the screen at all. By end May just check the prices. the kill means the next big move UP. This down thing cannot be endless. I think the 4 days is a process of tranferring ammunition for the next big play, so that the playmaker can show his visibility to the public, using huge trading lots.

my hunch is, if this counter starts for his next move what we will see are moves having volume of 50000 lots x10, or minimum 500,000 on the screen. since Dec we only see him pushing up normally with 100.000 max. So is this the beginning of a new big time playmaker going for the kill?

However..., if pushing up normally for 3 days, it will taper off slowly and die off therafter. Likewise, at the most tomorrow could be the last day, and then stabilise or add a few bits up on friday. Share buy backs normally are positive, but they will also cushion the company from huge price falls when QTR performance is below expectation, becos they have mopped out significant number of shares from the open market. Its like this. The stock market is not a welfare institution, but more of a bloodbath zone, like a dog eat dog world. In the case of K1, i dont think it will drop below 53.5 and stay too long there, becos if it does then the playmakers accumulated spread will be very wide . and if the volume is high at these level and stays for some time this also provides opportunity for outsiders to buy at the lower price. Unless he has disposed of his lots at higher prices, it seems highly improbable that his average accumulation will be lower than 53.5 sen. The playmaker as the name imply must be ahead of outsiders in this game.

In simple terms heavyth, if the price goes down with volumes as big as friday continously to 50 sen, then the counter is already ruined. The playmaker knows ahead of the others the medium term fate due to poor performance of the company and is taking evasive action first. I call it ICU becos normal coma patients in ICU takes time or never at all to recover. The issue is that its OK to support a counter that you rationalise as a potential performer, but dont fall in love with it. When it falls sick you will be depressed if you are tied affectionately to it.

looking at yesterday's numbers, this playmaker, while trying to create panic, at the same time he is nicely shorting the counter and cooly pocketing the profit. Volume of close to 7000 lots, where from would it be, if it is not mostly from him? At the end there were 700 lots lined up at 55sen, hoping to scare people so that they throw at 54.5 sen where about 300 over lots waiting. Most probably that was his trade buying to conclude the short position. Notice also at 55.5 sen and 56 sen there were not more than 20 lots for sale each lined up 10 minutes prior to pre closing.
Come Monday, I think ths playmaker is not finish with this whacking. It might drop another 1 or 2 bits more for him to square off his position, before it stabilizes.
Just in case if someone in the forum suggest that it might drop below 50 sen, my response is simple: forget about putting your neck out to a falling knife. Say bye bye K1. By that time no point thinking further, because that counter has been admitted to ICU.

The counter is now moving down. With K1, have you not seen this before? He will line up huge sellers, but give it a few days, he will retrace and move up again. If you are familiar with K1, this is the usual routine. But most of all stop comparing with IFCA. You only know of IFCA becos it has moved tremendously, historical. Tell me, what is the chance occurance of a counter like IFCA performing in the total market? Close to zero. When it was 10 sen did you even look at it?

That is why I like this playmaker. He will milk your patience until dry. Just keep your K1 shares in the closet. It will grow. Dont bother about the day to day variations. Take a look by end May and see the difference. If you wanna argue because not able to contra, then there is more than 500 other counters out there for you to dabble with. The shares are already cornered. That is why you dont see big lots anymore. They are just moving about as they wish. Difficult to contra.

when you compare the movement of Priva, wintoni, systech, they move each time by substantial percentages. But K1 has a very cheeky way of moving. While they lure you into the game, they will milk your patience to the extent that you lose your direction with this counter. I think between here and the next Q report this counter will gradually rise, with some days dropping a bit. Time is definitely on the playmakers side. I think if you wanna contra, possible, but whatever small profits you make, you should exit.
As for today, I think the momentum is to clear the previous topside holders, that is why K1 only registered small gains.
If you have a bit of holding power, look no further, this is the counter for the next 2 months.

Hey gaussian, honestly speaking, why do you have that loathing and cynical feeling towards anyone who promotes or speaks favorably of K1? My only concern is those off market deals previously done in big blocks. If it goes to specific individuals or friendly parties then the play might become exciting. If it is institutional, then we have to exercise patience, as this are more of a longer term issue.
But other than that, looking at the financial reports repeatedly and reading the notes carefully, I find K1 is breathing new life venturing into new excitng playing fields and is only starting the real big thing. Standing at 50 sen is not within their class.
Beyond that we can only hope that the playmaker is on the job!

the meaning of correction is to rectify,and not to rejoice during the period of consolidation. Oil is no more a happy happy story like other speculation. In this case it was a long overdue price not being in sync with reality. after a correction it is not necessary prices will fly high. In fact most funds are very cautious where O&G is concerned. The situation with oil is no more deceptive or speculative, but more so pegged to the reality of demand and supply.

Just popping in to see how things are with these K1. This counter is just dormant right now, perhaps becos the playmaker has reached fair valuations for the current moment. When volumes are small now, its difficult to predict direction for the next move. However, this volume is indicative of small public float, meaning most of the shares are held by the playmaker's party. This is good if it intends to move up, but retailers could be at the playmaker's mercy if he decides to toy around with the prices at this stage. Look at his robust defence at the 27 to 30 sen level.This counter if hits 25sen in 2 or 3 weeks time, than no point even buying! His job is done.
