And when the results from HRC is out, without a playmaker for both what turmoil will occur with shares raining down. But wait a minute. Shares like petronm and HRC are not toilet papers that institutions and the corporations keep in their vault. They are not penny stocks, they are sometimes pledge to the bank. Would these big guns allow margin calls, despite profits reported. Do you think the big guns do not know the plaumaker? If that happens the playmaker's backside will be blasted with a C4. I wouldnt call this outright sellling, but more of a controlled play. Its like the foreplay b4 you make love. And a foreplay is only temporary b4 you go for the real thing.

My suggestion is not to buy yet, let HRC come out with their report and see the effect on both. This clustering effect is a plague. This evening and monday could be very noisy. I think the battleground will subside and calm sets in perhaps on tuesday. JUst my take.

Happy 888, view the dynamics of the price movement between HRC and Petron and notice from the bursa graphs, apparently they are similar due to the clustering effect. Between early and mid june both got snafued by RM1, Petron from 8 to 7, HRC from 6 to 5. If petron get screwed today by 5%, HRC might follow suit by how much, only god knows. And perhaps HRC results even if good will likewise screw petron, again due to the clustering effect. Is that how it will work? So look again at the dynamics of price movement. One other thing is that the pullback in june was healthy, or else you might even be scared to enter, because the trajectory was always up. A one major retract and re-tracement is good for the stock.

My advice to you happy 888, dont even think about viewing the market tomorrow. Ask yourself whether you want to get involve with the noise or what. Stay with whatever stockholdings that you have. Unless you have those not already paid for. On that nobody can help except your own decision. If you do watch petron tomorrow, the devil's whisper might take you for a ride. He will tweak your emotions up and down left and right.

Precisely happy 888, free float is limited and what more with Petron international holding 73 %, that is why it is lightly traded. Dont you think that this characteristic makes it an excellent stock for keeping and not bother about the noise in the market. You dont even have to bother looking at it everyday. The problem arise if you are a T4 trader. Similarly with HRC. Why do you think that they could appreciate 100% within a couple of months? They cannot do so if they are counters hitting the top 30 volume day in day out. Why fear, the fundamentals with petron is intact. if it goes down so what? these are just minor noises on its way up.

Let me just provide some references: When POS, Kerjaya Prospek, Serbadinamik, UEMS, and most other institutional stocks reported good earnings, was there any massive drop? And what more like the ACE market KRONO there was hardly, maybe non significant decrease or any down days ever since reporting quarterly results and private placement. Look at sunway con and WCT tomorrow, which just reported earnings, see whether there will be any significant pullback of more than 5 %. Sometimes we are just too preoccupied with the forum and our notion that we just fail to see the bigger picture. What is so special about petronm that there should be a significant pullback?

The sell down will be small time. This is a fundamental institutional stock that will be priced according to basic valuations. This is not ABC stock that you whack upwards without considering intrinsic potential, and then just let it go to cash out. No doubt there will be the fear factor tomorrow, but it will be well absorbed. Its doubtful it will go below 9 tomorrow. Just imagine, if it does, then HRC will follow suit becos of the clustering effect. And when HRC issues commendable results, naysayers will predict another down day. And so the impact will also overwhelm Petron. So the scenario goes that 2 strong companies screwing each other's prices. What happened yesterday when HRC got whacked for about 32 sen down and like wise Petron was sniffed of 20sen. if worst case scenarios is expected then companies might as well report huge losses. Again HRC and Petron is not like those counters that we witness day in day out in the top 30's.

the ESOS lot loaded into trade today is only 42 lots out of 1006 lots, not something that the playmaker cannot entertain. Its just that the playmaker makes condition difficult for contra trades. This is the type of stock that you buy and never bother about the daily untoward incidences. Check the reading of the stock after about 6 months. If you watch daily you will develop split hairs. You might even wanna kick your laptop.

yesterday the volume showed some passengers hopping on this bus for a merry short term ride. this bus most of the time shuns away short trippers. Also this stock is always shy of making it to the top 30's by volume,. except yesterday. Time as the essence is theirs to dictate. They can afford to trade a handful of shares the whole day. Anyway, this is characteristic of a stock with upside bias under steady control.

I have gone through moments much worse than this before. My advise is dont despair. consider this as lessons learned in trading activities. My gut feel says that this forum will be very passive in 2 or 3 weeks from now, as most will have lost interest in this counter. Market sentiment is poor, next QR is 3 months from now, outlook for K1 is not encouraging taking the cue from their present performance. What reason is there to justify upward direction? The playmaker is on the verge of total exit. Once the corporate finance wrest control of the price movements then it will be similar to all other counters that we see on bursa which are traded daily on a lethargic mode.

The playmaker and company share buy back are separate. company share buy back might maintain the company's desired price. But pushing or dumping is not their forte. That is the expertise of the playmaker. With the turmoil. the stable price range is anyone's guess. but then again the share buy back process spans many months. The company is not that desperate. But we are, cos we are always thinking of fast profits. A case of same playing field but different time objectives.

now it all figures out why they wanna do share buybacks as announced earlier. The board has already anticipated this Q results being below expectations. In a way they will also not let the price deteriorate further, as it will also compromise their purchases.
My advise, read thru the Q performance notes as a guide. What they are experiencing is just a temporary aberrations in business. It could be a different story in the coming quarters.
But if you are upset cos K1 did not match your expectations, then its not my call.

No problem KC 53. The confidence booster is the small premium over the offer price thus far, a singapore based company that could have the advantage of leverage on exchange rates, and their business oversea expansion. This is one stock worth keeping.

the eps 6.61 is based on 91 million no of shares. Check out the notes to the Q4 2014 report under the heading basic EPS. However, the future business scenario is prospectively expanding. Based on current valuations I consider it very.... attractive. If they do a 7 mil net this year EPS will be about 2.7, and based on a fy15 PE of 20, it should hit about 55 sen. But then again see what the playmaker wants to do with this counter, whether he's on the job or not.

There were no dividends.They won't reward shareholders who were not part of the business b4 listing. Perhaps in FY2015 there could be.

I will mix both the info from gaussian and yungks. I am gonna buy about 70 lots of K1 in MAY b4 their Q1 financials becos gaussian says more downtrend to come. I am inspired by yungks' staying power. I am gonna keep it much longer, say about 5 years. Wanna see what multiples can be achieved. If b4 or by then the company goes PN17, bungkus, so be it. I dont depend on the initial money.

Try running through most of the CHINA base listings in Bursa, and one thing is common. All will show low P/E. Problem has always been level of confidence in their reporting. heck XDL, Xinquan, CAP and some of the shoemakers etc.
