we are not only worrying of merger fail, but need to consider if the new share of IKSB fall heavily after merger~~

this so fixed price were set before peak, after cash payout, will the share still worth that price? look at sunway.

Yeah, if you believe the deal can get thru, then you dont have to worry on IKSB as you may have different trading strategy on it~ Example: Sell it before de-listing?
Or else, If you can gain 30% now (if you really think merger can get thru), do you able to afford to loss 30% when IKSB first listed (drop immediately from RM2.00 to RM1.40 at 9am first day listing)? Why not? Remember, some % of $$$ will be cash back, and some % of $$$ are converted to newco share, so at the end, you still earn few %.
Pre-requisite of all of this is: THE MERGER DEAL MUST GET THRU SUCCESSFULLY~

investor viewed the merger offer excessive... and valued the merged entity's share @ 1.40 instead of 2.00 per share !
