Par value only 1 sen but sell at offer price 75 sen. Really can't believe the logic behind. The company has no biz at the movement, but with a group of oil and gas business professionals. Imagine how many years u will take to build a biz from RM1 mil to RM75mil.
Now market is in JB Inskandar property theme play. Will oil & Gas theme be on play when Clip listing? Only time will tell.
Lessons learnt from Petra Energy Berhad will expose the competency and credibility of its ex-CEO who is now one of the directors and the CFO of this company.
SPAC 1 ( Hibiscus ) already successfull with this bisnes model. The price offer from 0.75 cent and now maintain around RM1 50 - 2.00 with free warrant. SPAC investor control 190 mil from total issue and principal gerenti 90% from total investment cost. Within 3 yrs CLIQ must ensure to manage the fund for good return to SPAC investor and return back 90% to investor if no bisnes
Open reference price will be 62.5 sen per share and warrant at 12.5 sen....by end day mother share may go to 65-68 sen....investors now leatned from hibiscus and no panicky shld come in
Necro : if you managed to buy before the listing ie via balloting or private placement, the share comes wt free warrant on 1-to-1 basis...so price share and warrant will be readjusted before the listing so it is still being reference to 75 sen and both shares and warrant are tradeable....to answer why shld i buy at 75 sen and not at 62.5 sen (assuming that is the regerence opening price) because once its listed, the shares that you buy no longer comes wt free warrant...so your upside is only on the share coz u dont have warrant...hope that answers :)
adalah sikit sikit....besides, bila invest always look for risk reward ratio...in cliq case, its very good as 90percent are placed in trust and refundable (+ investment return from bonds etc which cld raise to refund around 95%) ... financing maybe hong leong and maybank jer kot provide as they are the underwriters
Yes hold kedua dua sekali...hibiscus was first spac so byk investor x faham why open mother share at 62.5 sen...walhal depa ada warrant...when hibiscus open, its mother share pergi sampai 50+ sen but harga warrant bukak 12.5 and tutup at 13.5....naik 1 sen...nett for the day investor rugi abt 10% first day coz ppl dont understand how spac works....
Susah nak buat TP waktu ni coz bisness acquisition blum ada...and until then premature kalau nak buat TP...but if acquisition jadi, mother share and warrant shld be around hibiscus...
SPAC 2 must better fr SPAC 1, private placement oversubscribed and on first day listing, the price will up bcos IPO only 10 mil. Many long term investor waiting to buy on open mkt.
Heard private placement oversubscribed by 3 times....as amount of shares placed in private placement is high and only 10 mill for public, means price shld not drop lower than its offer price (mother share+warrant)....the only way is upside...
Agree wt Risk Trader that price shld go up or maintain around the 75 sen....why investors who buys large quantity want to sell at lower price and take a loss? Most understand its mid to long term play...
Ramai kata jual mother share and keep warrant....strategi i terbalik...better jual warrant and keep shares bila saham ni saham SPAC....reason, if dlm 3 tahun and cliq didnt complete any acquisition, trustee akan pulang 90% of your initial share value (plus investment returns in bods etc)....however, if you simpan warrant, warrant akan hangus after 3 years with zero value and x boleh claim the 90% return...so safer to hold mother share coz ada guarantee part of investment...my two cents worth
Personally i dont think will open at 85sen and warrant at 15 sen....as exercise warrant is 50 sen, if warrant is 15 sen on opening, mother share shld be around 65 sen...giving a 5 sen upside combined mother and warrant...this looks more realistic as cliq has no business at point of listing and will not fetch high premium yet...my two cents worth
Cliq has announced its intention as in the papers on saturday...however, as per sc law, they cant announce any negotiation or acquisition prior to listing.
Will they be under risk based service contracts from Petronas like Dialog etc? Or are they targeting for fields oversea? It mentioned Asiania and Oceania. From exploration to production typically it is 5 years or more, and right now they don't even have a prospect yet to explore. I'd think this kind of IPO is very risky, but of course there are many speculators outside. To be an upstream player you need to be cash laden, by getting funds from public, and if you drill a few dry wells, your cash is going down real fast... Just my opinion.
Careful on this kind of investment without any historical record. This kind of scheme may be successful for one or two but the majority are bound to fail. Just imagine the nearest con job in KLSE is the various chinadoll malaysian JVs which have on going business but failed to shine. How many investors have lost a fortune since the first one, ie the Antah Bhd reborned.
hisbiscus style, until today still nothing - selling talk only.
Gerenti, x bolehlah - just does not work here. There is already a company giving this profit style, profit drop but directors still survive at AGM - regulators does not care.
D only consolation with cliq, strong technical & experience staff. I wait first lah.

Nowadays IPO is I Bluff You instead of Instant Profit Offers. Beware of these suckers who are after your money.
