What Is QE?

Calvin Tan Research presents

THE ORIGIN OF QE

THE IDEA OF QE ORIGINATED BY JOHN MAYNARD KEYNES

Three People With 3 Different Responses to THE 1929 GREAT DEPRESSION

1) BARUCH - He warned About Market Collapse

2) Irvine Fisher - He didn't believe Dow will collapse. In fact he bought more as the Market Crashed from 1929 -1939

3) John Maynard Keynes - He also got caught in The Carnage.

On October 1929 The Dow Jones Crashed Almost 90% in 3 years.

Baruch who Sold All & Left the Market Escaped unscathed. He did very well.

The Tycoon Irvine Fisher Was Destroyed & Lost his entire fortune.

John Maynard Keynes also got caught. But he survived.

John Maynard Keynes wrote about Quantitative Easing. When businesses slacken Govt Should Pump in money.

The Fatal Flaw of the Great Depression was Hoover's Response by tightening liquidity. Times were so bad that World War one soldiers marched to Washington to ask for war payments owed. The Govt responded by chasing them away empty handed.

Money was scarce & exacerbated the Crash for 10 long years 1929 - 1939

Then John Keynes propounded the KEYNESIAN THEORY.

QE Was Mooted As An Idea. Paul Krugman who praised Malaysia for Its Capital Control is all for QE

In Year 2008 When Lehman Brothers Collapsed QE was introduced for the First Time. So far 2 other QEs were implemented.

The World without QE will enter a 2nd World Great Depression.

What is the Ultimate Solution to World Financial Problem

KEYNESIAN THEORY IS STILL BEING PUT TO TEST.

HOW IT WILL END WE DON'T KNOW AS YET.

BUT WHAT WE KNOW IS - IT WILL GO ON!

SO STAY INVESTED!

Regards,

Calvin Tan
