A lot about Oil palm but probably you and uncle cannot understand.

If you check on listed plantation companies, now FFB production dropped at least 40%, some even more. The weather is getting hotter, probably it will drop more next year. Now some oil palm mills are running out of water to process CPO. Most could report losses in the coming quarters.

Some may not sustain and just be taken over.

Consolidation!

A lot of people cannot understand a simple logic. Plants are living thing (surprise!). If it is under pressure over and over again, it will become weaker and weaker, even after the crisis is over, it will never be the same again.

Don't be silly, cpo price manages to maintain at current level around 2700 is already a fantastic earning figure for plantations, cost of production is areound 1600-1700/per tonnes.Forget the boastful rubbish of 3000 or more etc ,etc.totally out of their minds.

speakup already said, somehow nobody is pushing the small & mid cap plantation companies. only the big cap plantation companies have moved.
